Love this beach because it’s super wide and hard packed making it easy to walk on. Cars are also allowed on the beach for $20 and don’t present any conflict with the walkers. The beach itself goes on for at least five miles with excellent shelling at low tide. Honestly, one of my favorite beaches.

We love this park. The boardwalk is over a mile long. You get a bird's eye view overlooking both the Ponce Inlet and the ocean. Dogs are allowed until 10 am and no bikes or vehicles are allowed. You see tortoises and their many homes dug into the ground. We happened to see a surfing competition on the ocean. You can access the beach to do a beach walk along the inlet and ocean. It's a great place to take a walk.
There are bathroom facilities. There is a $10 parking fee or a veteran's discount for $5. An annual pass can be purchased for $20 or $10 for a veteran.

10/16/23; The beach is beautiful and I do my 2 mile walk almost daily. The lot #5 board walk is being repaired and closed Monday through Friday but open on the weekends. It is mostly just replacing the path way boards on the boardwalk. The park service is stating that they will be finished Oct 27, 2023. Most of us are using #4 and going 100 yards south to be out of view from the boardwalk. I met the new ranger (law enforcement) yesterday after he had written warning tickets on the cars parked illegally at the boat trailer parking area below. He said next time there would be tickets issued. Enjoy this beautiful beach but read the enforcement signs; also we have an unwritten rule amongst the regulars and visitors; line up in the cul-de sac to be the next vehicle for the next spot. Walk to the boardwalk and ask nicely if someone is leaving if you may have their spot and tell them you are next in line. This is just common curiosity.

Great little museum, with big-time information. Extensive exhibit on the 1768 Turnbull settlement. Local history spanning hundreds of years. The tapestries from the WPA program are fantastic!! There is also a room devoted to East Coast surfing! The gift shop is amazing, try the datil pepper salsa! So good!!

We stopped by here a few times over our summer vacation. Very nice place located near the KSC area. Very unique and old school.

Canal was a cute area to walk around after dinner. The shops looked cute. Unfortunately all the shops closed early (5-6 pm) so by the time we were done with dinner they were all closed.

We visit NSB a few times a year. We always feel welcome here for services. The architecture and the main stained glass window alone warrant a visit.

I have been one of the volunteers at Eldora House for over a decade now. Spending time learning the history of the former village and its industries has been an exciting adventure for me and I love to share with our visitors. Getting locals to volunteer is always a goal for the park staff and if there were more, Eldora House would be open more often.

It’s the “official” start of the cross Florida bike trail which, unfortunately, is not complete on the roadway to the beach and doesn’t really start until the Brewer Bridge. The beach is unspoiled and simply beautiful. Nice parking and restroom facilities at the cross overs. Easy drive over from Orlando.
    Enjoy!

After searching for parking for nearly half an hour, we finally ended up here! The area is booming with shops and restaurants. We spent the day at the beach. We were here on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded but still very nice. Get there early in the morning or you will not be able to park on the beach. It’s nice to have bathrooms but they were nasty!

Very nice beach town. Great restaurants. Beautiful beaches. Attractions close by also. Several state parks close by worth the drive.

Here’s where you go to get away from crowds. Easy parking, clean restrooms and miles of beach to walk…or just sit and enjoy the view. Excellent facilities.
