What travelers are saying
- ZeituniJerusalem, Israel1,666 contributionsPleasant sandy beach with provate parts. Water not always clean. Toilets are on a distance. Good service.Written May 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TexasTravelChicTexas143 contributionsThe boardwalk is a great way to get around, without using the regular streets. Renting a bike is even better! So much to see… The boardwalk is wide, for walkers and bicycles. plenty of sidewalk breaks to get you back over to the main streets. Very clean with plenty of wall space, to sit, if you need a break. Most beach hotels have boardwalk access.
Down by Ocean Drive there are playgrounds, volleyball, and workout equipment, on the boardwalk. Lots of beautiful park area, to sit and watch, or enjoy a little picnic.Written May 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Alex613North Miami Beach, FL3 contributionsA very nice place to walk and enjoy the city. Lots of restaurants around, promenade is very pretty with fountains and greenWritten May 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Joe K5 contributionsClean, safe, open pier to walk out and get some pictures of the ocean, Fisher Island, and the beach to the north.Written March 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Be KindBalbriggan, Ireland70 contributionsIt’s a must if you’re in LA . Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the view. It’s extraordinary- every single person should go to LA and see itWritten May 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kae LNew York City, NY35 contributionsSteps away from the Beach/Ocean , such a nice relaxing park . Perfect for people watching, relaxing, and vibing .Written April 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Raymond144 contributionsNice quiet shady place to visit to get out of the sun and heat. A lot of plants, mostly ornamentals. You will see a lot of butterflies and turtles. They do have events held there but I believe it's always open to the public anyway. I was expecting bigger, but it's well maintained. Their is a Japanese Garden, butterfly garden and several pools and a gift shop. It's free and worth a visit. Wish more plants were labelled.Written March 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 4historyandcultureCharlotte, NC1,495 contributionsWe walked to the marina from the 5th street and spent four hours watching the yachts, incoming cruise ship, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner in an outside dinerWritten March 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marcell HuthColorado17 contributions12th street is a nice street! BUT the Google map description is incorrect. It is mostly a residential street. It’s true that there are businesses where 12th street intersects Washington Ave, Collins Ave and Ocean Drive but these businesses and restaurants are not particularly exceptional. Furthermore it’s not a “lively street” like Española Way or Ocean Drive as the description makes it sound; don’t be misled!Written November 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Flor V3 contributionsBig hotel with all the facilities needed to enjoy with the family. The water park is amazing, the kids loved it! Rooms are spacious and well designed, a little bit outdated (I think they have renovated some). The staff was very nice and helpfulWritten April 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- wireless_in_CAUnited States4,506 contributionsParking across the street was only $1 per hour compared to other lots closer to more popular beaches. From the lot to a spot on the beach near the water took less than 15 minutes.
Soft white sand, warm calm waters and a clean beach plus a lot less people made this an enjoyable place to relax.
Lifeguard stations were manned. Closer to the street were the volleyball courts and public restrooms (not the best condition or smells inside).
If one wants a quieter beach experience then I suggest the North Miami Beaches over mid or south.Written October 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - davsprt714Pittsfield, MA349 contributionsVery nice park with beautiful shade trees. Beware of many homeless people here and some are loud and a bit scary.Written December 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Raymond144 contributionsGreat beach!
Everyone is so friendly, the sand is the softest and the best ever. Their is rental chairs and cabanas and food vendors both in the textile (clothed) and nude beach area. Nude beach on the north end. Restrooms and shower along the service road. People play, sunbath, jog, swim and wade here. Love it.Written March 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Stuart BDeal, UK1,654 contributionsAt the top end of Collins Avenue this is a lovely place to stroll or sit and watch the world go by. Beautiful setting with trees and a few sculptures, sit down, relax and chill out. Just what you need.Written October 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
