Great place to walk around. We took the Trolly from the Colony Hotel Miami Beach shops, restaurants and Bars everywhere we took advantage of Happy Hour food and beverage prices.

This 17-acre urban park is the southern most tip of the South Beach, on Miami Beach Island. Whenever we visit Miami, we come here.

It reminds me of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, in which they all face east to Atlantic Ocean, which has the pounding waves. (Miami is in the north and Rio's in the south of Atlantic Ocean.) But a slight angle to the South, the body of water becomes calmer.

Bikers, walkers, joggers, kids, pets, beach, Smith & Wollensky, meter parking can be tough.

This spa is very relaxing. It’s underneath the stairs and they have amazing water feature that is really zen. I received an 80 minute Swedish massage from Julio. It was amazing! I would give it 6 stars if that was an option. Really fantastic and much needed. Love the vibe of this hotel so much and will definitely be returning. Food is so good, ambiance, total package place to stay.

We learned that Lummus Park's main purpose was to extend the beach further away from the town to prevent flooding. It's a nice green area with walking paths and benches.

We very much enjoyed our walk through the gardens! It's not overly large so it doesn't take a lot of time to stroll through and see a lot of beautiful plants and trees. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Clean stretch of beach with clear water. Extremely hot in August and an umbrella is a must. We rented loungers on the gay section but all our welcome. Much quieter on this section.

Fisher Island is a truly exclusive place to visit, unless you're a service or construction worker.

We were invited by a friend of a friend who's lived here for 25 years! One MUST be on the visitor's list to gain passage on the Fisher Island ferry and then have a resident escorted one around. We visited with our adult children, sister, and niece/ nephew. Given that it was mid-summer and hotter than usual, most residents were absent at this time of year.

Our resident toured us about in 2 golf carts, the expected transportation mode, and showed us detailed walkthroughs of various sites including the Vanderbilt Mansion, Spa Internazionale, the Beach Club, the marinas, and local residencies.

Our host's home, like most homes here, was elegant and extravagant and very neat and clean.

We enjoyed a terrific lunch at the Beach Club and biked or beached in the scorching sun most of the day.

Sadly, getting here is unlikely for most folks, enjoy the photos attached and ask questions if you dare.

North Shore Open Space Park was originally established in the 1950s when the city purchased and demolished a series of dilapidated villas on the site. It is one of Miami's largest parks, and it runs from 78th Street to 87th Terrace. Over the years, the 28 acre site was left to nature.

In 2017 the city approved a 6 million dollar renovation of the park with Calvin, Giordarno & Associates as the project manager and West 8 heading the re-design. The renovation strived to preserve the parks plants, including large palm trees and sea grapes and the parks natural dune ecosystem which protects the park from rising sea levels. The goal was to improve the beauty and functionality of the park.

Today you can enjoy enjoy beach access with lifeguards on duty and plenty of room to spread out as you soak up the sun. North Shore Open Space Park also has a outdoor showers, restroom, dog park, picnic tables and grills, sand volley ball court, three pavilions for picnics with grills which can be rented, swings and a play area, and trails with an outdoor fitness challenge course with self-powered workout stations. Parking can be found in the municipal lot across the street on 83rd street and along Harding Ave. I really enjoyed walking the trails in the the park and it is a lot quieter than nearby South Beach which you can reach via an paved 8 mile bike trail.

Big hotel with all the facilities needed to enjoy with the family. The water park is amazing, the kids loved it! Rooms are spacious and well designed, a little bit outdated (I think they have renovated some). The staff was very nice and helpful

Good place to go to for checking out yachts. Lots of boats here, many luxurious and a great sail away spot. See how the other half sails.

The bougainvillea bushes are cool, as they form part of sculptures. I wouldn’t make a huge detour to see this park, but a number of the free trolley routes stop here.

In this crowded beach city, this park provides welcome green space. Seniors like to sit here in the shade. The landscaping is pleasant.

The parks of Sunny Isles Beach are immaculate and Intracoastal Park South is a shinning example. It is part of the Intracoastal Parks, a linear park system made up of four smaller parcels to create an Intracoastal Park north and an Intracoastal Park south.

This waterfront park boasts a green landscape with picnic benches, seating, a bike rack, paved walkway, and public art. The linear parks contain a set of three abstract cement and metal sculptures inspired by the elements and environment of South Florida, "Seawhisper", "Rain", and "Converge". At the southernmost portion of the park is the fenced Dezer Family Playground donated by Michael Dezer, an Israeli-American real estate developer, car collector, billionaire, and founder of Dezer Properties which has investments in New York and Florida real estate.

I have always admired this park on my way to Bal Harbour and Surf Side but there is no parking at the park or anywhere nearby. It seems to have been made primarily for those living in and visiting the tower hotels and condos across the street on the beach.
