I and my parents came here and it was amazing. Very interactive you can color different animals you can either bring it home or leave it there and they will hang is up on the wall. They also have a video for you to watch which has information about the reason they bulit the place it is free. The do have a thouch tank however when we where ther it was close but you can still see it. The trails are amazing so much to see there are bugs so I would bring bug spray. They have a board walk to the beach over look and other to go to the beach. Absolutely worth goong to.

Melbourne Beach is one sleepy town. The beach itself is rough surf and dangerous rip currents. There are three or four restaurants and that’s it. Bring lots of books if here for awhile. That being said, cool pier will take up 30 minutes or so. Nice neighborhoods to walk through with little traffic. Great place if you want quiet time.

Well maintained, well used park. Walking path, green area, playgrounds, shade trees, pavilions, picnic tables, restrooms. Nice location to watch sunset — long pier. Yoga offered in park. Extremely limited parking. Some metered parking slots.

We arrived early in the day -about 9:30. It was so delightful to see so few people there. We saw dolphins swimming southward as we spent a lovely morning watching the tide recede. As the day progressed more beach goers arrived to enjoy the day. Yet, it never felt crowded. There was a good mixture of people from small children, teens, young adults, young families and the retired people, too. It was truly a great beach!

We’ve been coming to Cocoa Beach for 15 years, and had driven by this park many, many times. We finally decided to stop and check it out today and we’re glad we did.

There’s nothing mind-blowing here. Just a nice little, primitive park with some easy walking trails, beautiful vegetation, lots of lizards and a pretty little pond.

It was nice to just stroll around this peaceful little preserve on a beautiful Florida day. Well worth a 1/2 hour stop.

Plenty of parking, well maintained access to the beach in two spots. This is a lovely, uncrowded beach. We enjoyed walking the beach in both directions.

This is located on the East side of A1A about a half mile south of the Village of Tramore. It is hard to miss as it has a large life-size sculpture of Juan Ponce De Leon located on the road side of the parking lot and facing the water on a pedestal about 3 feet tall. There is a plaque behind the statue. It has one entrance off the road on the south end of the park. There are about 40 parking spaces for cars. A building with bathrooms is located on the beach side of the parking lot. The bathroom was a little messy but not bad for being used by many people. There are two entrances to the beach. The one to the north is the ramp and the one to the south is just stairs. The beach is excellent with a fairly wide beach. The beach was about 50-75 feet wide at low tide and looked to be about 30 feet at high tide. It did not seem very crowded when we visited and seemed fairly far from major population centers that would make it a busy spot. I would definitely recommend this as a good beach for any visitors to the area or long time residents.

This location is right off A1A across the road from the Juan Ponce De Leon Landing Beach park. There is plenty of parking in the Juan Ponce park and a walkway across the road to the Sanctuary. The park is an easy stroll through several standard Florida biomes to include scrub, hammock and River areas. It starts and ends on sand pathways that lead away from the road toward the river. Several of the trail-side signs are missing. The post is there but there is nothing on them. This sand and scrub area do not have much shade so bring hydration and wear a hat. This area leads into several cooler areas with tree covered walking areas and boardwalks. One trail leads to a small dock on the river with elevation and a very nice view. The end of the trail leads back to the southern entrance off of A1A across from a beach entrance. On our trip we saw a turtle and a snake. There are several areas that have signs for alligators. The entire trip took about an hour and was very pleasant and worth the visit. This is a good example of Florida walking trails and worth a visit.

This is such a highlight event of the trip! We signed up with the organization on a turtle night walk for late July.

The ladies gave a very thorough evening education session of the types of turtles in the area. They had spotters find a loggerhead turtle that was currently nesting and we were able to walk out on the beach to watch her during this process. Now this is never a guarantee that they will find a nest for us to watch during the night but we sure appreciate it when they do. Turtles are truly mysterious creatures and such a wonder to watch in their natural habitat. The ladies did such a great job educating her and creating opportunities for us to watch this wonderful process.

Thank you and will definitely be returning with friends.

This park is well out of the way and a hidden secret. There is a small bathroom to use. The parking lot is gravel but the beach is fantastic and obviously a good fishing spot.

While staying in Melbourne Beach, we played golf at the course as it was nearby our place. The course seemed to be nice and nice scenery along the riverside of the course. The course has some narrow fairways and several water hazards in play. Unfortunately, the day we played, it was unusually cold and very windy conditions. Even the volunteers at the golf carts said they would have skipped playing that day. Anyways, I did like the course, it is not a full course but much better than a par 3 course. We wanted to play it again in better weather conditions, but the tee times were booked a couple days in advanced, so could not experience it again until our next trip back to FL

First time playing on the course, was hesitant based on some of the reviews and being a short course, but decided to give it a try and something different than the other courses I've been playing in Melbourne area. When I played the course was not crowded, felt like I had the whole course to myself. The conditions were not too bad considering it was end of summer. There were some challenging or interesting holes, especially if you play from the back tees. I like how the course goes into the nature reserve, the course is not a completely flat course like Cranes Creek, there are some rolling mini bumps on the fairway and around the greens. All in all, had a good time and would play the course again next time visiting MLB.
