- lpdutilLynchburg, VA576 contributionsThis is a beautiful park on the lake with a super awesome playground for the littles! Our kids had a great time. We also walked around and saw lot of birds and turtles and even a baby alligator in the water!Written April 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark NWildwood, FL66 contributionsVisited during their annual truck show tractor pull.
Thoroughly impressed by the quality and quantity of the collection. It was a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
If you have a love of farming, machinery, or antique vehicles this is a must see.

Starts with a full sun beautiful stretch through magnificent wild flowers - phlox, passion fruit, and many more. Then the trail becomes shady and cooler. Easy trail, runs parallel to a housing development at the end. Had a decent pizza lunch at the restaurant across the street - Rodello'sWritten May 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Note: Beware of the biting flies halfway down the service road. Path to Boardwalk worth visiting on trail. We will definitely be back. - StarviageraThe Villages, FL1,733 contributionsFinally found it and it was open. You drive one way. GPS was wrong. It is not crowded and is very quiet and peaceful in the middle. Go to their website for the map as google is not accurate. At the very end saw a huge alligator. Lost of coots and hens and the usual suspects.Written April 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

full. Leesburg has a nice downtown including a architectural salvage shop with really interesting stuffWritten January 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Professional courtesyPunta Gorda, FL47 contributionsMy wife and I were in Leesburg vacationing and were eager to check out the antique shops. Victoria’s was by far our favorite. They have a nice collection of antique furniture, repurposed and rehabbed pieces, great salvaged pieces (where could we put that 200 pound steeple vent?), and a good selection of various furniture parts for creative types.
A beautiful antique Italian hand-stitched body pillow caught my wife’s eye, and she made a beeline for it. She rarely gets excited about such things, but it was stunning and she had to have it.
As we checked out we chatted with the owner(s) for a few minutes. They were delightful and funny, and our conversation capped a satisfying purchase.
We highly recommend Victoria’s, and will definitely stop there again on our next trip to Leesburg. The store has some great stuff, the prices are fair, and the owners are friendly and fun.Written March 24, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can even do some people watching here on Haynes Creek as a parade of boats go by. Nice little getaway especially in the fall. Never know what you’ll see here. Today’s special appearance was a baby gator! Definitely recommended.Written October 21, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jim pFort Myers, FL91 contributionsCamped at shelter site. Primitive site, no water or electric. You hike in a mile. This site is not directly on the river, but Wekiva River is close. We hiked in with way too much stuff. Ranger Paul, was super nice and gave us a ride back to the parking lot the next day. Saw bear, deer and raccoon tracks. They also have scrub jays, which are very rare. Cool thing about them is they like people and will fly on your head if you stay still. Definitely go back.Written December 30, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FlaHarlockTavares, FL4,787 contributionsUnless you're looking, you would never know this park was here. Located on CR-44 just past the Hwy 441 intersection. Hiking trails, wildlife, and serenity on the shores of Lake Griffin. Beautiful 55 acre park donated by Buddy Bourlay. Several different trails to choose from. Bourlay trail leads you straight to Lake Griffin. There you will find a park bench, picnic table, and amazing views of Lake Griffin. The Lake Griffin trail pretty much circles the park and is just over a mile long. There's a kiosk at the entrance and another one at the lake. Both contain maps and information. Excellent park for a picnic or just a timeout from 441 traffic. Definitely worth a visit. - harriet w2 contributionsIt is what is says, a boat launch and separate long fishing pier with a perfect sunrise view. There is a small area of the lot shaded by trees. The Mary Ellen Robertson Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter of Leesburg have adopted this park to perform water testing and periodically remove trash from the lot. We do not have a boat and so are unable to remove trash from around the dock area. Any of you fine boaters willing to help? Thanks and enjoy this easy access boat launch.Written November 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FlaHarlockTavares, FL4,787 contributionsStopped in to check on this park now that it's been raining all summer. To my surprise it's a completely different environment. The boardwalk is actually over a lake now, with fish, frogs, and even a gator! Where did they come from and how did they get here? Last time I visited it was a dry, grassy field. Gotta love the rainy season in Florida. This truly is a beautiful park and a nice getaway that's still close to town. Definitely recommended.Written September 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
