Absolutely stunning gardens! We visited on an extremely hot day so that made it a bit challenging to walk around for too long but it was still enjoyable. Admission is free, which makes it appealing, especially if you can’t tolerate the heat and just want to stay briefly. We definitely want to come back next time we’re in the area and the weather is a little cooler. Highly recommend a visit.

This is a beautiful park in the heart of Largo, and really central in Pinellas County. The grounds are well cared for, the plants, flowers and beautiful live oaks, and all manner of flowering tree are welcoming. There is a fountain, a fantastic shady playground. Plenty of shelters, picnic tables, benches. On the first weekend of the month there are train rides. Plenty of parking, and lots of fun activities planned by the city. This is one of our favorite parks!

We really enjoyed wandering along tree lined paths, exploring restored buildings, and discovering a bit about the history and culture of this part of the gulf coast. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. A very pleasant afternoon for families, couples and seniors. Plenty of places to picnic and free admission!

    Small park
Different from other parks as they have lots of turtles and birds of prey. Geat for people to learn about birds of prey

We sat and watched birds, including osprey and moorhens as we soaked up some sunshine by the lake. Then we took the bikes for a circuit around the park. It didn't take long, maybe 20 minutes, but gave good views of the areas and passed under tree branches to make it cozy in many places. Parking is free and plentiful.

This trail is an urban trail, but mostly off the actual roads, making it safer. Do watch at the road crossings! You could go about 40 miles, apparently, but we did 10. A few map plaques would be helpful, especially showing how far to the next bench for a coffee stop. Trail is well kept and plenty wide. Site markers with locations to guide 911 service were frequent (just in case).

Went for Frozen toddler time, was a great big place with a huge amount of activities for all ages. Everyone was very happy. Best was the snowball dodgeball fight. Maybe I’m not used to kids activities, but $17 for a two year old for 1.5 hours seemed a bit much. Basketball trampoline hoops and ninja warrior course were awesome.

Great place for a walk and a bike ride. Has 2 lakes. Paved and unpaved paths. A couple of spots to have picnics and restrooms.

Very nice family oriented park focusing on family activities or a just plain nice walk. The lake is beautiful and full of life with water birds and fish. Highly recommend this wonderful park for a family outing or a just plain walk in the park.

Very affordable, often crowded in the Summer, but still fun for everyone. We don't use the rec center, but the pool is amazing.

Danelikestotravel indicated that Monique (March 31, 2019 "must get her facts correct before writing a review" and went on to state dogs are only allowed on the boardwalk. That is incorrect Dogs are allowed in the park - just not on the birding trails. The trails where dogs are not allowed are clearly marked.

This is always a rewarding place to pack a coffee for a stop at the bench or picnic table. Many different birds, especially water birds abound and the pond has fish, turtles and a gater. The plaques throughout the park are old and very hard to read - check the one by the entrance for best information.

I loved this produce store when I visited one year ago, before COVID.

Hopefully, what I experienced on this visit was a blip caused by COVID; I found the fruit to be lower in quality than what I remembered, and the prices higher than what I remembered.

I hope things return to the way they were.

This is a great park with volleyball and skate features. There are also a couple ponds for seeing birds and nature.

Attended a swim meet and the facility is very nice. The competition pool is deep and there are enough lanes for two courses. The facilities and space for tents are good. Seating is in the sun which is not the best during the Florida summer heat but great during Florida late fall and winter seasons. The lifeguard staff could be more friendly and knowledgeable. They appeared irritated to be doing their jobs and were not overly eager to help when questions were asked. In fact they seemed downright irritated. Overall a great place to have a meet.
