What travelers are saying
- Michelle KMedina, OH26 contributionsThis museum is top notch! I’m not even a diver but my husband is. I learned so much about history that I didn’t anticipate I’d want to know;) Hoghly recommend - can do this in as little as an hour - but 2 hours is best!Written August 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alejandra MSouthwest Ranches, FL26 contributionsFun snorkel! Got to swim through schools of bait fish. Saw a lot of variety of fish from parrot fish, eel, nurse shark, and some barracudas. Water is super clear and beautiful!Written June 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- paul s1 contributionFantastic start to our visit to Key West. The Gose and Kolsch stood out but all beers on the flight were very tasty. Highly recommend.Written September 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Adam EFort Myers, FL1 contributionAbsolutely amazing. The only thing I wish is that they would bring back the select single barrel rum for sale. What’s your name? Olo was the best bartender ever!!!Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- K BRoyal Palm Beach, FL19 contributionsGreat walk through natural old Florida Keys habitats. Shaded and cool. Interesting coral fossils of geologic time and yet connected to the marvel of the Flagler Railroad construction. A nice hidden gem we drove past for years. Spend 1-2 hours away from the modern world and take a step back in timeWritten June 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jivey7821 contributionsWe love hanging out at the beach. The water is so clear. We visited every day during our 7 day vacation. I loved how clean it was. It was also refreshing to see they have no tolerance to people breaking the rules.Written July 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer Fchattanooga, United States16 contributionsWe paddled to Indian key on our paddleboards and kayaks. But you can also rent from Robbie’s. If using your own gear, you can’t put in from Robbie’s, but can from the shoreline on the highway.
Very beautiful shallow paddle out to the island. There’s a kayak landing on the west side in an old abandoned dock. Walking around the island had many beautiful plants and ruins with informational placards. We spent most of our time on the east side of the island, fishing and snorkeling. We even saw a shark on the east side when we were leaving.
Took us about 45 minutes to paddle each direction.Written March 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But it’s a nice way to enjoy some swimming in Isla Morada.Written August 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dean60993Cincinnati, OH11 contributionsBeautiful work in a beautiful space, with a welcoming artist at the helm, and free range chickens and peacocks to bring a smile. We couldn’t help but leave with a few small pieces that we could bring home with us on the plane, and we plan to have at least one larger piece shipped.Written February 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GoVols79Chattanooga, TN3,865 contributionsWe stopped at Rain Barrel Village for the giant lobster and were surprised to find the village of shops behind it. There is parking in front of the building but also a nice lot on the side. The only restrooms I saw were port a potties but it was fine. This was a fun stop on the way to Key West.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 2FlyingCoconutsHolmes Beach, FL516 contributionsThe Lobster Trap Art Gift Shop and Gallery on Islamorada Key on The Oversea Highway is a most unique spot to shop. Local artists, including owners Nadine and Glenn Lahti, whose artwork is absolutely spectacular, cannot be exceeded for beauty and fine quality.
I had ordered a framed ceramic tile depicting the Alligator Lighthouse. It was ready and waiting to be picked up. In addition, I also discovered and purchased a framed ceramic tile that depicts the marker in Key West, "Southernmost Point" - this for family members who return there every chance they get - and we all live in Switzerland!
Both of our rustic nautical picture frames were made one at a time, using wood from aged lobster traps collected from local fishermen.
