Our dive master, Charles, was very friendly and did amazing at leading our dive and showed us some incredible sea life! - Steven B7 contributionsOur family had a great time on the bar crawl trip. We enjoyed getting on the water in Key West and this is a pretty easy way to be in a boat. It was fun hitting the bars, but it was just as fun going from place to place as we are not really big drinkers. Our captain said we could go to more or less bars, and he made sure we were in the best location based on the weather. We were on the south side of the island as the wind was coming from the north. - Dan WMontrose, MN8 contributionsWe went on a two-tank SCUBA dive trip on December 27, 2024. The sea was rough and a bunch of snorkelers lost their cookies.
We visited Sand Key lighthouse, and Rock Key. Both sites were shallow, 15 to 30 feet. and visibility was about 20 feet.
We saw typical Caribbean fish like Sgt Majors and an assortment of small colorful fish.
My wife spotted a four foot shark and we saw parrotfish, eels, and lobster.
If you go, make sure someone has a compass and knows how to use it because the dives were unaccompanied.

We had the best time thanks to his referral of places to visit while riding and got awesome pictures! - Gail D8 contributionsWe had a great time fishing with Garrett! We caught a variety of fish and nurse sharks (including some really fun smaller spinner and black tip sharks). Garrett was knowledgeable and willing to be flexible to our group's needs.

Leaving port and coming back every guest was up top and it was very crowded. A bit too crammed for me. Captain Clay and his crew were fantastic though. A very hardworking group. They seemed quite a few times to be working as if they were 4 people and not just 1. More than once I even over heard a guest asking if they wanted them to help them out. Sunset needs to give the crews a break and book less people for their outings. My husband and i booked the "do it all w/jetski and parasailing" even with 6 hours out at sea there were so many people he didn't have time to go knee boarding because the last rides of the day went to the volunteers. Again, too many people and too few staff. With all that said, my husband and I will absolutely be doing this again, however will be checking and double checking the guest size limit and booking our trip based on that. Huge thank you to Captain Clay and his crew, they made the whole trip worth it and worked their butts off. - JRY4Thermopolis, Wyoming, United States5 contributionsWe discovered a free afternoon on our last day in Key West. We had been watching fish come in off the docks and wanted to get out fishing. Stopped in at "Gone Fishing" and told them we wanted fast fishing of even small fish rather than slow fishing for a trophy. The Red Bull was available and price reasonable compared to what we had been seeing. Quirky tug boat appealed to us. We are experienced at fishing and it was just what we wanted. Capt Matt was accommodating to us from our music selection to where we went. Bottom fishing resulted in about 7 varieties of fish that were small but fun to catch and see. We were leaving the next morn so we did catch and release but Matt had info on where to take fish if you wanted a restaurant to cook them up for you. We went from 430-830pm and I didn't think the sunset would be very impressive but it was beautiful and very worthwhile to be out on the water during this time!! A lovely afternoon.
