Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder
#2 of 38 things to do in Key Largo
The experience was well worth the cost, as the six trainers (from the docks) directed six dolphins through many exercises or tricks which delighted the kids who were in the water interacting with the mammals.
Great family activity and created a wonderful memory for all of us.
Island Dolphin Care

We loved spending time there interacting with staff and watching the dolphins work with special needs children and also watch their trainers feed, play with and interact with the dolphins.
Thank you, each IDC member for your thoughtful compassion, your professionalism, your creativity, your investment in so many individuals and families!

My kids really loved taking pictures of all the interesting birds: there are all sorts of owls and a playful blue jay who was raised in a cat-owning household and who now meows.
Perfect for families, kids, and animal lovers of all ages!
Dolphins Plus Bayside

However, we loved the time with our dolphin and it was a great educational experience as the children got to learn a lot about the animals and feel the outside of a dolphin as well as seeing inside the mouth.
For our daughter’s Christmas gift this year, our family of four participated in the structured dolphin swim together, and wow was it amazing!

Special shout out to Renee (hilarious BTW), John, Wayne, Nick and Captain Dan :) We are already planning our next trip to Florida May/June 2017 and we are bringing the kids!
We visited three different sites and saw an amazing variety of wildlife underwater: elkhorn coral, thousands of fish, brain coral and everything you'd hope for if you watched Jacques Cousteau as a kid! Be sure to...

They gave us great insight on what activities would be good for my kids ages 4, 6, and 8.
I did a lot of research online prior to my trip to narrow down the types of excursions for my family with young kids but was still concerned I might wind up on well-rated party-oriented operations.

Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park
#20 of 38 things to do in Key Largo
Walked at Dagny with the kids this morning for the first time since they've started the restoration project and what a difference!
I felt like the dirty kid from Charlie Brown.
