I went on foot there on a whim and I'm glad I made that choice.

That piece of land is calm and beautiful. You can walk from the entrance to the lighthouse in about an hour by foot but be wary of your stamina

    The view is worth it.

There's something about lighthouses that are so soothing. They make you think about the end of the land and the start of the infinity of the sea. I don't know, I just love them and this one isn't an exception. I walked the whole part just to see it

Nice uncrowded beach with soft white sand. We didn't notice the parking meter signs and got a $46 parking ticket plus $42 to rent two lounge chairs for a couple of hours. It was an expensive beach trip!

This is a lovely beach/park to visit and a lovely part of Key Biscayne with nature trails and nice beaches and a lighthouse. I came here today for the first time in 20 years and was shocked by how much beach erosion there have been due to the last few hurricanes. However it was still lovely and we had a great time. There is a lot of loud Latin music and a lot of people partying, it is not a quiet peaceful beach so just be forewarned! Lots of picnics and parties. Good restroom and good for fishing/ exercising too.

Great views, tons of activities, and no reservations required. From sucking up the sun, kayaking, sailing, cycling, mountain biking, yoga and having a picnic. Just enjoy the outdoors.

My husband and I really enjoyed exploring this park and seeing all the different birds. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Miami.

This is a nice marina on Biscayne Bay. They offer handy slips for transients, although the slips are very narrow and they are very low floating docks. We were unable to back our 15 1/2 foot powerboat into the slip, so pulled in forward. The docks appeared to be pretty new. They suffered damage to their restaurant during one of the hurricanes and weren't open. Reasonable rates. We faced a small island in front of the marina and at dusk, there were hundreds of large birds nesting in the trees. It was awesome to watch. No swiming at the marina, but you could go to Crandon Park beach or Bill Baggs, although neither one have very clean sand.

I have been living in Miami for over 8 years and I never went to see the Stiltsville at Biscayne Bay, Stiltsville has a colorful history that dates back to the 1930s, when the first shack on stilts was built above the water. Over the years more buildings were constructed, accessible only by water, the area was the place to see and be seen when visiting nearby Miami Beach. Stories of illegal alcohol and gambling led to several police raids back in the days. At its peak in 1960, there were 27 structures on the flats, but hurricanes, fires and the ravages of being in such an exposed place made every building relatively short-lived. In 1992, Hurricane Andrew left only seven buildings standing.
What a wonderful experience, you can buy a 2 hours educational cruise tour on the website of Biscayne National Park Institute.
We really loved it and for sure I will go again when friends visit us, it is really worth it, you spend 2 relaxing hours seeing something totally different, learn some Miami history and have gorgeous views, highly recommended @biscaynenationalparkinstitute @stiltsvillemiami @biscaynenps @thenewtropic

Que Rico! The beach it's always a good idea, at least for me, specially on a winter Miami day like this past Sunday. For the first time I walked, took pictures and breath in the amazing pure air of the Rickenbacker Causeway. There were people walking, running, jogging, taking pictures, camping, reading, doing yoga, meditating, and fishing.
Great place for all ages. Dogs are welcome and it seemed they enjoyed it!

After a delightful walk of an hour, I sat down on the sand and admire our beautiful Miami Beach.
It was sad to notice how dirty the beach sand was.

If you took the time to read this review before going there, please take an extra plastic bag with you; try to clean the beach and please throw your garbage in the specific containers.

We can do this for own good!

From booking the dive certification for my kids to this entire week, our experience with Diver’s Paradise was fantastic! My kids had Marco as their instructor and he was truly beyond amazing! PATIENT, kind and a fantastic instructor. He was with them in the pool ALL Day Tuesday, was with them the entire time on the boat Wednesday and again the entire time Thursday. I felt confident and comfortable knowing they were in good hands with them. When they forgot something, he reminded them kindly. The kids are both certified now and had a great time! I would recommend the store and Marco every day, all day!

Parties By Pat @ Crandon Golf Key Biscayne was an incredible wedding experience for us. From beginning to end, Violet, the event manager was accessible, attentive and offered personal suggestions based on our vision and personalities. We got married in March 2022 with 150 people with a "Tropical Elegance and Garden Formal theme" . We had the ceremony on the golf course, dance floor outside + upstairs under the twinkle lights, buffet dinner inside the restaurant, and an awesome lounge area on the bottom platform. The day of staff were notably experienced and passionate about making sure my husband and I were comfortable all night. From the moment we entered our party, they were waiting to take our drink order and during dinner had our plates ready at our sweetheart table cut up into bite size pieces. I could go on, and on about all the amazing touches Parties By Pat added, but the biggest for me were trust and peace of mind knowing their team was going to deliver. I havent even begun talking about the food quality or taste yet. If you're a foodie and want your guests to remember a delicious wedding, then definitely look no further. I am still dreaming about the food options we had, and they even made a special menu for the amount of vegan/gluten-free requirements we had for a number of our guests. All of our bridal party pix on the golf course during sunset ceremony came out stunning and our portrait photos along the bay and Miami skyline were perfection. Being able to use one of the golf carts to ride off into the sunset for our pix was fun and helped enhance our experience as well. Because we were the only ones at the venue and were isolated on Key Biscayne we didn't have to worry about noise levels, parking availability or competing with other parties for attention. It is easy to understand why Parties By Pat have been so successful for 20+ years! Lastly, I want to thank Violet again for her suggestion to have "to-go" Krispy Kremes at the end of the night before we got back on our shuttle busses for the hotel. It was a hit. Our vision was exceeded, I'm still floating in gratitude and amazement at how well everything turned out, and our friends and family are still talking about the venue, food, bar menu and dessert station.

Before heading to Key Biscayne on vacation with my family, I did a lot of research to find the best offshore captain in the area. I landed on L&H sportfishing and booked three trips a couple of months in advance of our arrival. The first two were half days with my wife and three young children (11,9,7). The captain and crew were absolutely fantastic. We caught a huge variety of species and brought home enough for a few meals each time. The action was pretty much non-stop, and the kids had a blast! Between these two trips, we even caught a couple of MASSIVE sharks which the kids thought was the absolute coolest thing ever--all of them were able to participate reeling them in.

For the last trip, I went on a full day with my father-in-law and two friends. I had never caught a sailfish before, and Captain Jimmy vowed to do his best to make it happen. We traveled a bit further out this time and proceeded to kite fish as the conditions were optimal. This is a method of fishing that I have never done before, but it was super cool and impressive how the crew managed all of the lines throughout the trip. Almost immediately, we were in the action. We hooked a few big kingfish and bonita to start off. Within an hour, we hooked up with something big but weren't exactly sure what it was. A few minutes later, a sailfish came launching out of the water. I eventually landed the fish (check off the bucket list!). A short while after, we hooked another sailfish and another not long after that! We hooked up with three mahi (one of which was a huge bull) at once at one point during the day, and finished up with me catching ANOTHER sailfish with plenty of other action in between. Let's just say that the four of us had pretty sore arms at the end of the day!

A HUGE thank you to Capt. Jimmy, his sons James and Chris, and to Chris as well for making these trips truly special. You guys certainly work your butts off and work hard to make sure that your customers are comfortable and are having a great time! I have been on a lot of fishing charters in my life, and you guys are by far the best! Trust me, I will be back!
