Our small group of three experienced a wonderful tour by Craig, of locally owned restaurants, art gallery, brewery and locations where the "Bloodlines" series were filmed.
Our guide was excellent and knew all the history of the keys and the local area, which will hold your interest as you travel from each food delight.

Tours are free, classes are free, a little shop in the tasting room, a perfect stop among the days of shopping and tasting things in Key West!
Afterward, you get a free sample of rum or can do a rum tasting of all their rums for $10 for a larger shot glass or $18 from a locally made ceramic glazed shot glass, both souvenirs.

We met Captain K’raven (yes; dressed as a pirate - and he stays in character the entire trip!) outside a local craft distillery where we had an orientation and learned we were the only guests (quite the bonus!).
Got a history lesson about the Atocha ship wreck while sipping a Cinnamon Toast Crunch cocktail and admiring some amazing jewelry and recovered coins.

However, the best part was Julie, who patiently answered all of our questions about the wine and cheese and then chatted with us while we were sitting there.

What Jimmy Buffett is to Margaritaville, Schnebly Winery is to fun!! Fabulous experience, good wines made from exotic fruits in an amazing setting.
Either one offers a huge selection of beer or wine made from local fruits other than grapes, such as avocado, mango, coconut and passion fruit.

It's a wonderful little shop with a great wine selection, including many unique ones, and some wonderful wine themed gifts.
She was knowledgeable of the wines, made us feel comfortable and was overall just a pleasure to be with for our wine tasting.

This key lime pie is delicious but the very best on the island we have found is at the Hot Tin Roof restaurant in the Ocean Keys Resort at O Duval......to die for!!!!
But, this place does make really good Key Lime Pie, and he would be proud that they offer it in EXTRA TART!! Great location, close to the beach and Duval.
