This was a nice surprise. We was looking for things to do and this popped up ok trip advisor as something free to see.

They are a animal rescue preserve. Not really a zoo.

There is so much to see and do. A lot of Florida native animals to see. Deer, birds, alligators, reptiles and other animals. And two bears.

If you are looking for something really neat and free then check this place out.

Great place to take visitors. Walking up to the top gives a great view of the inlet. Then have lunch at one of the many places

Clean and beautiful scenery but water in swimming area was not very clear. I recommend as for family picnic and to arrive very early due to heavy traffic.cement benches around site are very convenient to just sit and enjoy the views.

We enjoyed our visit to see the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals.
The ball park is set up very well to accommodate families. Staff were courteous and the facility was clean. There are no bad seats.

Shout out to the concessions staff because they were busting it all game long! The lines were long but they were great!

There is a free parking garage and lots of dining/bar options.

Went here last week with a friend and her baby to walk the trails. The weather was gorgeous and the paths were well kept for using a stroller. Will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic, off-leash dog beach located from crossover #26 to #57. There are 2.5 miles of clean, uncrowded beach. On each visit we encountered friendly, very happy, well-behaved dogs of all sizes & responsible dog owners. The only drawback was lots of dried seaweed on the beach that easily clung to dog fur. There is street-side parking with stair/ramp access. Several of the crossovers have washing stations.

Favorite Jupiter beach most of the time, but this week they're adding more sand to the beach and much of the beach is closed.

This is a nice shopping area with a mix of higher-end shops (Tommy Bahama, Chico's, Lola Dre' to name a few...as well as a handful of restaurants (The Woods, Tommy Bahama, a breakfast place and a yogurt shop). You can even stop in one of the retail offices and talk to someone about your next yacht!...yep, no kidding!!

We happened to stop on a Sunday morning and they had a marketplace set up of additional local vendors. We were also able to walk through the marketplace and shops and get a few things. The area was along the waterfront and the overall surroundings were very clean and well kept.

We did not realize there was a riverside part to this park until we were ready to leave. The riverside part looks relaxing and cool.

The beach wasn’t very nice. Tons of dead seaweed. The erosion is really bad. There is a big drop off to get down to the water.

    Lots of nice Picnic areas

The Loxahatchee River Center is located in Burt Reynolds Park. According to their website "The mission of the River Center is to foster a sense of environmental stewardship for the Loxahatchee River's diverse watershed with quality education programs, exhibits and meaningful events."

This small eco museum is dedicated to educating the public about the Loxahatchee River which is home to many endangered and threatened animals like woodstorks and manatees. Along the banks of the river it is common to see alligators, turtles, river otters, deer, raccoon, turkey, bald eagles, owls, heron, ibis, egrets, gopher tortoise, osprey, storks, scrub jay and many other species. Some of the more common types of fish in the river include bass, panfish, mullet, snook, tarpon, redfish and jacks. The Loxahatchee River flows through a 260 square mile ecosystem that includes the communities of Jupiter, Tequesta, Juno Beach, Jupiter Island, Jupiter Inlet Colony, Jupiter Farms, Hobe Sound and Palm Beach Gardens. After gently flowing through freshwater creeks and down into a brackish estuary, the river enters the Jupiter Inlet before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean. In 1985 the Loxahatchee River was federally designated a wild and scenic river, one of only two such designated rivers in Florida. if you are interested in exploring the river more closely, kayaks and canoes can be rented at Riverbend Park.

This small free museum is set up in a circle. On the outside of the building is a timeline of Jupiter history starting with 6000-5000 BC when the Loxahatchee River watershed was formed. Inside you will see interpretative signs about Jupiter shark explorations, where the drinking water comes from and goes, and how to balance water use. While the museum is geared toward children I enjoyed all of the aquariums containing the fish and turtles you would find in the river along with some saltwater tanks. They also have a touch tank that you can explore with a staff member. In addition to the museum the Loxahatchee River Center offers various classes and programs throughout the year. A full list of events can be found on their website. If you have a few minutes to spare in Jupiter it is well worth stopping here to learn about the river that is so important to the ecosystem health of this area.

Nice park near the Jupiter Lighthouse. It was great that Mr Reynolds did such a wonderful thing as this. Great place to relax and observe the area.
