- Scott C1 contributionGuest at the Marriott property Hollywood beach. The beach property was secure just for hotel guests with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Umbrellas extra $. Beach was very clean.

We had drinks at a restaurant called the Blue Wave. Pricey but really good.Written June 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. People are so active on the cement walkway. The only negative is that there is a lot of alcohol on the walkway/boardwalk and the outdoor restaurants start the loud music at breakfast. I did not stay out late with my daughter, but not sure if it would get louder at night. There were plenty of police around. Either way, I loved it there. Clean, beautiful beach. Very family oriented with plenty to do - at least up until 9pm.Written December 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Compass079914010931 contributionEverything is great. Parking fee is crazy. I had just needed Paprika needed to run in and out. So I didn't go. Needed a gift in and out. Not paying 30.00. Even 10.

My issue was that I was not being allowed to play craps using a betting strategy that I like which is within the normal rules accepted everywhere else. Since then I spoke to a floor supervisor who advised me that it was a mistake on their part which has now been corrected. While the motivation for this change may or may not have been my review, in all fairness to the Hardrock, I am happy to write this follow up review to let people know they did the right thing and I appreciate that. I am glad I have a place to play dice in a beautiful casino.Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patron9 contributionsGreat place for a day trip with the family , some peaceful alone time on your lunch hour or for camping .... trails for walking and biking, workout stations, a kids playground and a waterpark.Written April 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael RGranville, OH524 contributionsVery nice beach. A paved walkway (the "Broadwalk") allows for pedestrians, skaters, or bikers to access the beach and numerous shops or restaurants. Parking in some side streets or parking garages is available but not free, typically $3/hr. Beach chairs, umbrellas, or cabanas are available for rent. There are palm trees between the Broadwalk and the beach which provide some shade late a.m. and into the afternoon. Our first day conditions were very calm and swimmable. Later visits were quite windy with strong waves, not inviting for a swim. It was never overly crowded even during Spring Break. Overall quite nice.Written April 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ArielflCoconut Creek, FL2,201 contributionsf you have not been swung around the circle then you have not properly visited Hollywood Fl. The city of Hollywood was designed by founder Joseph Young. Unique to his design was the incorporation of three large circles of land located along the main boulevard. These circles became the sites of a ten-acre park which was originally named Harding Circle and later renamed Young Circle, a circle for the city hall complex, and the third circle for a military academy. If you have ever driven around the Artspark at Young Circle it is like a roundabout but on steroids. People race around it at high speeds while others frantically try to find the exit off. It's quite an experience if you miss your exit you will be swinging around again.
Inside the circle is a large park where the city holds events. There is no parking in the actual circle so you need to find parking along one of the city streets or in the downtown parking garage. Normally it is not a problem but if there is an event it can be tricky. Inside the park is a bust of city founder Joseph Young, a covered playground, splash fountain, restrooms, visual arts pavilion features live glass blowing demonstrations, salsa dance classes, and an art gallery. An 2,500 guest amphitheater hosts free weekly concerts and events. Currently the city Christmas tree and Hanukkah display is set up here. The circle is the cultural arts heart of the city. It is also favored by the homeless residents of Hollywood. When there is events the police sweep them out but when you visit on your own it is best to keep aware of your surroundings. Other than that the landscaping is lovely and it is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.Written December 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amos MShoreline, WA6 contributionsMe and my Mom, who is a professional artist, enjoyed our visit to the Art and Culture Center. As a NARM member I get free admission. The receptionist was courteous and helpful, handing us a brochure for the current South Florida Cultural Consortium exhibit, and also chapters 3/4 in the Open Dialogues series; Gen Queerz and Queer Allies. I really enjoyed the video installations included in the cultural consortium as they depicted artistic and creative possibilities for improving ecology in both Florida and around the globe. Neither me or my Mom are related to LGBT however, so we weren't able to indulge.Written November 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Allen BMuskegon, MI1,245 contributionsMy review is about the Seminole Classic Casino, not the newer one called Seminole Hardrock Casino & Hotel. We have been to both. I am rating this place higher than I did in the past because they added a non-smoking section, which I know we appreciated. Slot are tight as usual but we had fun, and lunch wasn't too bad either. We will be back for sure.Written November 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NewYork_adventuristRochester, NY1 contributionThe splash park is closed right now. No signs regarding why, but I assume because of Covid. But the park is open and the beach is very nice.Written January 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
