No glitz, no glamour, but a authentic road side farm market, with loads of very good food. Yes, lots of fresh oranges and lemons, but so much more. Pasta, marinara sauces, jellies, jams, salsas, and so much more. The various fruit juices are cold, fresh and delicious. I'm not a fan of strawberry milkshakes, but these things are worth the trip alone. Helpful, friendly people at this family owned fruit store. They also have a food truck from time to time. It's going to be an out of the way type of trip, but it is worth it.

Being somewhat new to Haines City, I've heard of this park, but until today, never visited it. Happy that I checked it out

The park has something for everyone. Several play areas for children of different ages, covered picnic areas, a bandshell all located on a lake.

The picnic areas are first come first served, unless you reserve one in advance. There were numerous ones, and sure they are popular on weekends.

It was relaxing just walking around. It is beautifully landscaped, and plenty of squirrels to amuse you!

The park is home to Several events, and my only concern would be parking during those.

Quiet park, not many visitors. Half of hike was other paths, then main trail, mostly by accident. Cell service and Maps app helped reorientation to main path. Main path is heavy sand, so more strenuous to hike.

Look down! Animal tracks/prints abound! Helped me locate wildlife. Saw deer, and a few birds, but not other animals.

Travelled south from Davenport along Highway 27 to Bok Tower but decided to return via US17. Journey time was about the same even though distance was around 5miles longer. However, it was a much more scenic journey passing through orange groves and old Florida towns such as Dundee and Haines City, plus a bonus was fewer traffic lights until reaching Ronald Reagan Parkway.

The course is in beautiful shape and the design is great as it features all different style holes. It is certainly not a value-based course, as it cost us $171 for 36 holes with the replay rate for the afternoon round. Curbside service was on top of things, the restaurant was very good and timely, and the beverage cart did her best to get to us twice per 18. There is ALOT of sand on the course, both lining the fairways and encircling the greens. While the greens were true and reasonably fast, they were incredibly difficult to read, and bordered on ridiculous at times to keep the ball on the crowned greens. I'm a pretty good player and enjoyed the tee to green experience, but not sure I'd return as the greens were too frustrating.

If need a quick drink, with an average Joe,this is your place, but if smoking bothers you keep going...the food was sub par,and the atmosphere was blah...unless you love the smoke...

This course is always on our list when visiting Orlando. It is quite a drive from the Disney area. The course is in need of some work, mostly the greens. Not sure why they are not given the attention they deserve, the course itself is a great layout and very challenging - with narrow fairways that force straight drives, waste areas that demand a solid shot to ensure you make it over. Staff is friendly, restaurant is good for sandwiches and a cocktail after your round. The price reflects the need for improvement. I will definitely keep on my play list, and remember to bring extra golf balls next time .....

If they do not do something about course it won't be open long. Played the East, and that was to be the side in better shape. For the $, we played much better courses in the area.
Over 75% of the fairways and greens were in terrible shape.
