What travelers are saying
- Rex A S69 contributionsAbout an hour east of Pensacola, Florida, and outside the security fences of Eglin Air Force Base with easy access by public roads. Free parking and admission.
Numerous airplanes, helicopters, vehicles, missiles, rockets, heavy weapons, small arms, and more on display both inside and outside.
Super signage.
We spent about 3 hours there between two travel stops and would recommend at least 3 hours if this interests you.
Well worth the stop simply for a really super Prisoner of War of the years presentation.
Thanks,

We stayed at Azure Condos on the beachfront. It’s a laid back, mostly family friendly vibe.Written June 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DonnaLou72Vancleave, MS21 contributionsLoved getting to visit the pier for the sunset on the last evening of our stay. We got to see a dolphin, a sea turtle and humongous swarms of minnows. The view is beautiful and the boardwalk is so nice! Hope to be back next year.Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonathan RDavenport, IA19 contributionsWe really enjoyed this marine park! We saw the dolphin, sea lion and seal shows. All the shows were very entertaining and kept our teenage kids engaged. It is a nice walk around during the day when it is warm outside. We purchased the penguin petting and the kids were all smiles. I do suggest that if you get this to make sure the photographer knows when they are taking individual photos that no one else in your party is in the photo. They cannot not edit the photos afterwards. Lots to see and do, many photo opportunities and the breeze off the Gulf helps keep you cool during those hot days. Plenty of seating while you walk through the park if it gets too long for your family.Written July 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa31 contributionsHighly recommend this little museum as an interesting, fun, and educational diversion away from all of the touristy stuff in Destin. Museum includes interactive elements great for kids. Admission also includes an early twentieth century schoolhouse.Written August 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TarjiaKlaukkala, Finland257 contributionsWalk a bit further and the beach is practically empty. Just white sand, emerald water and a few scattered fishermen. Saw a beautiful blue heron on the beach.Written October 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MKTBETopeka, KS4,090 contributionsThere are a variety of fun activities at Wild Will's Adventure Zone that are fun for kids of all ages. Our teenage grandchildren were especially interested in the Go-Carts & Bumper Boats. They made everything a competition and enjoyed both immensely. The outdoor ropes course and mini-golf looked fun, too. But it was too hot!! We highly recommend this adventure park, as it is clean and well maintained.Written July 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, looking from the outside, it appeared small. Would have loved to seen it while they were open, however time did not permit. It is off the beaten path a was through a few neighborhoods. If you're not careful, you may miss it.Written July 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Beth DFruitport, MI269 contributionsI only gave it this rating as we just happened upon this park in our way to the airport. They weren't open at the actual museum so we only were able to see the mound and the building on top of it. Really cool history but think it could have been better if they were open. Not their fault but ours.Written February 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- johnellen@mchsi.comJefferson City, MO700 contributionsAccording to the docent the schoolhouse has been moved three times until it eventually found a home here. The original location is only about 1/4 mile from the present location. The first room has been restored so that it looks just like it did in 1912 with the different size desks, lesson plans on the blackboard, and the teacher's desk. The second room was added in 1927 to house the high school. In that room are different displays pertinent to the period. The addition of a docent made the visit much more interesting.Written March 12, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Salty711Fort Walton Beach, FL28 contributionsWe are at this beach every week with our dogs. We have met so many wonderful people and pups. Our dogs run loose and swim with other dogs. They have bathing area and separate fenced area for dogs as well. I wish they had more benches by water but it is clean.Written February 4, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
