- 4AngelsMommyCordova, AL42 contributionsTo see these military planes up close was amazing. My husband and I went in Dec 2022 and with most everything displayed outside it was wonderful to enjoy it in cooler weather. The planes are huge and the signs accompanying them are very helpful to understand their history and capabilities. It took us over an hour just to see the outdoor exhibits. The inside of the museum was filled with memorabilia of Air Force heroes, many armament displays and video screens as well. The museum is free to the public and definitely worth a visit.Written January 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Krystina16 contributionsWe were blown away by the beauty of this beach. The white sand and emerald green water are breathtaking. No trash, very well taken care of. We stayed directly behind our condo and it was not crowded. We had our own little area. Such a fun experience and we will definitely be returning!Written January 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Krystina16 contributionsSo we were not there for fishing but oh my goodness, that VIEW!!! What a breathtaking view of the ocean. I’m so glad we went to this pier because you cannot beat that view! We also got to see some dolphins swimming below and it was fun to see what the fishermen were catching!! Definitely recommend. 😁Written January 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peggy ROlathe, KS17 contributionsThis was a small aquarium but perfect for our family. We spent a couple hours and saw quite a bit. The exhibits were close so that everyone could see. Only disappointment was the pool where kids could touch things only had one crab in it. But my 4 year old granddaughter still loved it. The Sea Lion and Dolphin showrs were excellent. I'd advise going in the morning as the afternoon was a little toasty depending on the wind.Written September 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pam WPhiladelphia, PA17 contributionsWater, wildlife, showers, space to walk, and food nearby—this park is wonderful. We came back for a second magical day because we were treated to a dolphin “show” on day 1. Day 2 brought tarpons and rays. The park has some interesting history plus a man made reef for snorkeling. We loved it. No crowds. A good mile or two of white sand and dunes. Gorgeous.Written September 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RbrtHDallas, TX178 contributionsThe museum is small, but very nice. We enjoyed the exhibits on the history of native Americans in Florida. They also had an exhibit on pirates of the gulf coast. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it!Written October 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, looking from the outside, it appeared small. Would have loved to seen it while they were open, however time did not permit. It is off the beaten path a was through a few neighborhoods. If you're not careful, you may miss it.Written July 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- johnellen@mchsi.comJefferson City, MO735 contributionsAccording to the docent the schoolhouse has been moved three times until it eventually found a home here. The original location is only about 1/4 mile from the present location. The first room has been restored so that it looks just like it did in 1912 with the different size desks, lesson plans on the blackboard, and the teacher's desk. The second room was added in 1927 to house the high school. In that room are different displays pertinent to the period. The addition of a docent made the visit much more interesting.Written March 12, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - D L LMount Juliet, TN19 contributionsMy 1st and 4th grader and I loved it! We needed a break from the beach and pools at our resort. The Museum is very well done and includes several interesting, interactive exhibits. Check the hours before going. School house and civil war exhibits closed on Wed and Thur. You can easily peer inside the school house and get a pic with your smart phone. It is all located downtown with a playground one street over, theater, gift shops and restaurants.Written March 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Salty711Fort Walton Beach, FL29 contributionsWe are at this beach every week with our dogs. We have met so many wonderful people and pups. Our dogs run loose and swim with other dogs. They have bathing area and separate fenced area for dogs as well. I wish they had more benches by water but it is clean.Written February 4, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
