I realy enjoyed my walk through the preserve, I saw so many cool animals, a large bird devouring a fish, some snakes, a gator basking in the sun, and lots of different birds and turtles, even a huge squirrel.

Something to see!! Best time of year is in winter as they like to hang out near the warm water basin and Orange River generated by the Florida Power & Light Plan (off Highway 80E).
Best time is in the colder weather when the Manatees congregate at the nearby Power Plant which pours its cooling water (still warm) into the Orange River.

The only thing we would like to see more of are the specialty planetarium shows, ie:Pink Floyd, Beatles and the other music shows.
