Wonderful museum for learning more about the interests and friendships of the two man-made who new! Wonderful walk through grounds, great sales area of plants you might find on the ground.
The preservation of the estate, the exhibits and artifacts (antique cars, laboratory, gardens, etc.) are amazingly well-preserved, and the interpretive signs (and free audio tour app) are spectacular.

The tour guide was very informative and you can enjoy the trip back to the late 19th early 20th century through the layout of the property and thr history of the relationship between Edison and Ford.
The exotic plants and trees, which were brought from all over the world, are unequaled and in the 100 years since they were planted some have become massive titans.

For $10 you get to wander the field (don’t touch the grass!), touch the old fashioned scoreboard, sit in the dugout, and climb to the top of the green monster in left field.
The park is beautiful, clean, well planned, and a very real replica of Fenway.

From the Edison/Ford Winter Estates to the Edison inspired palm tree lined boulevard and the historic homes along the way, it is a beautiful stretch of highway.

It was a lovely town to take a stroll looking at the street art, browsing through some of the unique shops, admiring the historic colourful architecture of the old buildings and listening to the band.
There is a great art installation in Fort Myers -- lots of cool, metal, life-size (and bigger) sculptures through the whole downtown area.

The three-story, 6,000-square-foot mansion, which overlooks the Caloosahatchee River, was constructed in the Georgian Revival style with a beautiful veranda that wraps around three sides of the house.
The docent was lovely, and thoroughly knowledgeable on the history of the area and the home itself.

We just happen to see the sign when we were driving by to go somewhere else, so we turned around and went through the whole park.
