Marlene Rose is an outstanding artist and it is a pleasure to see her creations. If you have the opportunity to see her working - you should do it! It is absolutely amazing to see how she is creating!!

I am finding my vistits to CCHR Florida are helping me a lot to understand better what is happening and what should be improved in the area of mental health. I am discovering here are a lot of factual informations that do not seem so easily available or clearly expressed in general in the media. Actually it's helping me to better undertand what has happened also in the past two years. I appreciated very much the fact that I was able to view the video materials at my own pace and by myself. Still when I needed help the staff was supportive and readily available to answer my questions. I do recommend a visit to anyone, is time well spent and useful.

Robert Schoeller is a Fine Artist who mostly specializes in Portraits. Drop by and get a book of his works. He is from Austria and has been drawing since he was a child. Roberts works are worth checking out. Seeing one of his paintings in fact is a unique experience. Everyone I have brought over to the studio just stares in awe at the greatness of his talent. If you need a portrait that will last for centuries, he is definitely the best choice.

AS Clearwater begins to recognize that arts are an economic driver, the city established this local center on its main street for art exhibits by local Artists. Compact rectangular space. Openings with light refreshments attended by the featured artist. We enjoyed the reknown sculptor Nina Winters a city resident with global sales.

The Clearwater Historical Society was housed at the Plumb house until summer 2019 when it relocated to the historic south ward school building on Ft Harrison Avenue. It is a wee gem staffed by enthusiastic volunteers. Interested in jazz in Clearwater, visit here. Interested in local agriculture, visit here. I knew about citrus crops but not about the growing of gladiolas for the northern cities. March 2020 Women's History Month features a focus on local historic and living women including Dr Zena Lansky a retired surgeon and philantropist. There is even a multi-room doll house.

This home-grown museum serves as a research center for black history in Pinellas County as well as local repository of artifacts from this thriving black community even during segregation. I was excited to meet Mr. Donaldson (in a photo) ...the first free black man to settle here in 1868. It also hosts celebration of black accomplishments with the community like a Harlem Renascence evening in February.
