What travelers are saying
- co-directorAlabama72 contributionsThis park has everything you need for a day at the beach or for fishing. Clean, picnic tables, plenty of parking. It is a great place to view a rocket launch. The cruise port is right next to it and we loved seeing the ships come in and leave the port.Written July 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jim WEverett, WA8 contributionsThe facility was very nice and the staff friendly. We were able to go to the top and stand at the rail to watch a launch, but a little disappointed to be more than a mile away. I KNOW - it's for safety reasons, I get it. But you kind of lose the effect when the rocket seems so small on the horizon - and the boom of liftoff doesn't reach you for a few seconds after it happens. It was cool - glad we did it, but not really a Big Wow. Manage your expectations accordingly and you'll love it.Written May 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeAnn R1 contributionA great museum for space history lovers! It os small, but the collection is really interesting and informative. We loved the “fun facts” highlighted in each of the launch complex exhibits. Terrific little gift shop also! Bonus: you have to walk right past SpaceX Launch Control to get there!Written June 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carrie AMerritt Island, FL23 contributionsWe went on the morning cruise to celebrate March birthdays. My Dad needed a wheelchair to get onboard which made it so easy for us. Wish we had kept it for the sailing as he was a little too unsteady on his feet during the cruise. The Caribbean music was good up on the 4th deck prior to games opening. It's nice that smoking is only allowed in that area on the 4th deck and the remainder of the ship is non-smoking. Food was good onboard, sandwiches and salads were generous portions. Gaming was ok, my Dad wanted to play slots. He sat at some machines on the 4th deck. Apparently they have staffing issues, one of his bills got stuck in the machine and there was no attendant available that I could find. We managed to fish it out ourselves. The gaming floor was good but the table limits seemed a bit high with $15 limits, especially for a day cruise that seemed excessive. The gaming staff was very helpful. The birthday cake and champagne was nice after gaming ended. It seemed a little difficult to maneuver around for my Dad, probably because its an older ship. He needed help so it was good that we were with him. Overall a good cruise and we'd probably go again.Written March 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MALENURSERNColumbia, TN86 contributionsWe visited Cherie Down park while visiting a relative in Cape Canaveral. It has a nice beach that is clean. We could see the space craft launch site from the beach. We didn't have time to visit any other amenities at the park.Written November 8, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon ASt. Augustine, FL4 contributionsWe visited on Friday afternoon. The beer is great, staff was friendly, and my kids loved the bottomless popcorn for only $2! They had tons of fun playing fooseball and shuffleboard, as well as a few board games. A nice place to stop and relax for a bit, even with kids in tow it was just fine!Written March 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melissa P3 contributionsThis was a nice little park. There are exercise stations set up for the elderly or less active people (not a challenge if you are in shape). You can find information on local activities. Has bathrooms. There are covered benches in the shade where you could relax and look out over the water. There were no manatee around the day we went, but seems they may be hard to see because of trees and growth at the water's edge. It is small so won't take a lot of time, espcecially if no manatee, but a nice place to for a stroll.Written July 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barbara S12 contributionsThe only way to visit the light houses is by tour. This tour met at the Exploration Tower. The driver and tour guide were excellent. Was able to climb a few levels of the lighthouse and tour the lightkeepers quarters. Great.Written March 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LoveTravel7360745 contributionsThe kids loved the zip line parts. They even made up their own races on the courses! With their ages they had two courses with 3 gates on each course to choose from. They could even zip line on certain obstacle courses.Written January 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beth & EdPittsburgh, PA1 contributionWe picked this service to get from MCO (Orlando Airport) to the Coco Beach Hilton for a stay before our cruise. We used it after the cruse to get back to the airport also. The service was great, they were waiting for us at airport. The drivers on both trips were amazing! The vans were nice & clean, stocked with water & chargers for our phones & Wi Fi . We were in contact by text with the drivers. They were excellent, friendly, & answered questions. We will use them again for sure. They make transfer enjoyable & safe, A+ & five stars service!Written February 26, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ericka1 contributionPark was clean and fun for our family (with teens). They had an alligator pond with baby alligators. They looked healthy from what I could see. Hopefully they rotate them so they don’t just live there. Overall good experience and would go again (on a cooler day).Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
