- Mary WDelray Beach, FL177 contributionsThe inlet is a nice way to spend some time. It is enjoyable to watch people fishing from the pier, the boats coming and going into the inter coastal, and beach goers enjoying a day at the beach.Parking is free across the street and there are restrooms there as well. The sand is regular tan sand , not like the sand in downtown DelRay, but with out the mobs of people it is relaxing..Written April 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ksmith5770Michigan4 contributionsSunday services at St. Thomas More, Boynton Beach, FL are very up lifting. The music is sensational, representing all styles, with excellent voices, in a format that truly enhances the liturgy. The homilies are A+. All three priests are tremendous in their passion for ministering to the flock. The decorations at Christmas 2022 were amazing! Everyone is so friendly from the usher that holds the door on your way in, to the person sitting next to you. And the campus is extraordinary with shrines, and a pond, and places to sit and reflect. I look forward to Sunday mass. You have to experience it to appreciate what I'm trying to impart.Written January 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joanne10 contributionsMy husband and I did the VIP Experience. It was SO worth it! They didn’t just teach you about the animals you were looking at… they actually talked about how the animal came to be there, unique qualities (or quirks) that this one has. Feeding the animals was a blast! Being able to touch and pet them – I didn’t know that the kangaroos that they had were SOFT. That surprised me! The otters… I could write way too much about them! They were a blast. You go into a secure place that they can’t get out of – and sit on the floor. They come up and play with you and climb around … and their little noises! It was too cold for the sloth holding but we still got to see him and touch him and of course learn about him and his pillow issues. It truly was an great experience and one that we will be repeating again. They have a ton of very loved animals – and the best team caring for them. Moni was our tour guide and she was GREAT (Sorry Shawn). While we were there one of the goats had a BABY! We just missed the birth by about 10 minutes. It was already standing and momma was cleaning him up.
I would HIGHLY recommend doing the VIP Experience if you can. (note - VIP Experience right now is 14+ years old) and you are in groups of 10 or less.Written January 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 53benjaminsDelray Beach, FL6 contributionsMy wife and I came here with our Bassett hound and sat outside on picnic table. Great place, love the vibes, and most of all the beer. Ample seating both indoors and out with daily food trucks. They even come outside to check on you and get another round or provide water for your pup. Will certainly be coming back soon...Written January 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Miles ArcherBoca Raton, FL7,459 contributionsFriendly atmosphere. Good selection of brews. I sampled five. Nice variety. I like ales and fruity beers. And stronger beers like stouts. I don't care for IPAs. Food trucks come here at times. Good service.Written June 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BRIAN BNew York City, NY766 contributionsWe visited in January on a warm, sunny day. There is a small car park with a display board of what visitors may see in the natural area.
The path divides and offers walking a bicycling routes. The easy to understand signs are beyond the understanding of some as the only people we saw on our walk around were two riding bikes on the foot only routes.
Walking quietly and keeping an eye on the underbrush for animal life the walk was leisurely and uninterrupted by sight of wild animal, annoying insect or bird. The only live thing besides plant life was a Zebra Longwing butterfly. I would say there were two except the first sighting was on the way in and the second sighting was on the way out so it may have been the same one!
Never the less, even without seeing wild life the topography and plants were such that it was a fascinating way to see what Florida looked like before it was manicured to look like golf courses interspersed with houses and strip malls.
Well worth an hour or less of your time, though given the scarcity of people don't wander around on your own or at night.Written February 26, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NandaLahaina, HI309 contributionsThis is a really great option for small kids in times of Covid. They are doing a tour - very well made. They bring the animals to the car really near the windows. You can have a selfie with the cutest sloth! We loved it!Written September 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
