- sotmsNew York City, NY257 contributionsAbsolute gorgeous place, both on the inside and outside. Staff is excellent and is eager to give you explanation of every item in every room .
very interesting to observe the workings of the mansion, such as kitchen, call buttons, etc.Written May 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Olive VMiddletown, DE25 contributionsWe enjoyed very much each element of the Museum. Terry, the bus driver, Amy at the Black powder area and everyone involved were very interesting and informative

From one end you get great views of the Wilmington skyline. You get good views of the river and plant life on the other side. The area is very commercialized, with restaurants, a children's museum, golf course, and a farmers market. Because it was a Tuesday in March not much was open. Parking lots are available around the area so check out a map first. My only complaint is the public bathrooms were closed. Thankfully the market had some.Written March 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ciaoblaLewes, DE215 contributionsI loved being back in this theatre again. The performance was Fiddler on the Roof and it was exceptional! The new carpeting, seats, and paint are just lovely. the seats seem a little wider, but don't quote me on that! I loved the experience.Written June 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nonna-WilmingtonWilmington, DE16 contributionsLots of choices for walking paths. Great for kids and adults. Plenty of playground activities. Dogs allowed while on a leash and free bags for feces disposal.
Water available in some areas for dogs as well.Written September 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - jim cWilmington, DE32 contributionsno longer WCL but now is run by Live Nation. Main stage is downstairs, open area. General admission STANDING is typical for most shows. There is a balcony upstairs for additional costs. Drink prices are $$$. $4 for a soda,$8 for a beer, $12 for top shelf. They do have good tribute bands - sometimes for free. I've seen TRIBUTE Tom Petty, Van Halen, David Bowie, Ozzy, AC/DC, etc. and all were very goodWritten July 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Katrina WNew Kensington, PA9 contributionsWasn’t sure what to expect, this tour is legit. The tour started with an introduction about different devices that we would use during the tour. Everyone was offered something to use to track paranormal energy in the house. Got lots of responses to multiple questions. Our guides were great. Would recommend this tour.Written May 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cindy COradell4 contributionsLovely walking trails, waterfalls, flowers, places to picnic. It’s also a beautiful place to drive through.Written May 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marykay KNew Jersey851 contributionsWe visited the DuPont Center and Refuge at the same time -- actually, the are in the exact same area. I guess the Center maintains the huge 3 story blind and the Refuge maintains the paths.
There is a huge distance of raised/elevated boardwalk time paths thru the Refuge. It actually includes quite an extensive range of paths thru the marshland/swamps. The paths ways, where we walked, were all well maintained and open to a variety of folks using them from parents w/ small children, bikers, joggers -- it is set up for them all. The walkways are wide enough so it can easily accommodate all the traffic.
A wonderful, and amazingly quiet oasis in the middle of Wilmington. It gives a great counter balance to the busyness of the rest of the city.Written November 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Brynne B30 contributionsWe had never had mead before but really enjoyed the lesson on what mead was and the actual experience of trying so many varieties! Super friendly staff who knew their stuff made the experience even better. The atmosphere was cute and relaxing. We will come back to try that which we misssed today.Written September 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- snailkiteNorthern Virginia, VA690 contributionsPlenty of good beers to choose from. Really efficient and good service. They allow you to bring your own food so we ordered good pizzas from La Pizzeria Metro. Seating outdoors here was the best. Because of their service system, order a brew and it’s almost immediately delivered: very impressive.Written July 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MaxwellpantsPhiladelphia, PA141 contributionsOur first trip to Delaware Theater Company and it could not have been better! Right off I-95, plenty of FREE parking, and wonderful volunteer staff. We saw a delightful one man show and already bought tickets to a few future productions. How did we ever miss this hidden gem?!!!Written June 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mariellen EdinburgClaymont, DE136 contributionsThis is a nice place to have a view of the city and the marsh from the observation deck of the nature center and the boardwalk trail is a great way to get up close and personal with the marsh environment. We haven't yet been inside the nature center due to Covid but I know in the past they've run programs like family canoeing in the marsh or Zumba. We will definitely be back to see the inside of the nature center and participate in a program in the future!Written June 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- dojoyBethany Beach, DE14 contributionsThe Christmas performance was Excellent. The cast were professional, the music, costumes, everything was very tastefully done. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice variety of food offered. Would not hesitate to recommend for a inspiring Holiday experience.Written December 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WasOnceBucks County, PA472 contributionsSaturday matinee. The best seats I could find were in Row L, which is underneath the balcony overhang. Normally I am wary of this location in a theater because of sound issues. Not the case in this house. In a show where words really matter, we had no trouble hearing every one of them. Easy theater to get in and out of, plenty pf nearby parking at reasonable rates. VERY enjoyable afternoon in Wilmington.Written March 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
