- Katherine DChelmsford, UK109 contributionsOn a Friday morning I visited Nemours. It was a sunny fall/autumn day and the garden looked stunning.
I took the bus tour around the grounds and it was so interesting to hear the driver talk on the points of interest.
The mansion was quite an experience. In one way very much in a European style, and yet the American mods cons (20th century style) were much in evidence too. At every corner was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who could relate the history to you.
The gift shop is quirky and certainly worth a look. Managed to find a nice present there.Written September 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nancy A290 contributionsI did a self guided tour of the mansion during the holiday season. The mansion itself is beautiful and the holiday decorations only made it better. Well worth your time.Written December 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Han K8 contributionsWhether you have ever tried meade (honey wine) or not, I absolutely recommend you try the meade here. You can sample a selection of different meades and ciders. Very tasty. You can make it a nice hang out spot that you spend a good hour or so at. They have board games if that’s something you enjoy. It looks like sometimes they have axe throwing a food trucks there sometimes too.Written February 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
