- Nonna-WilmingtonWilmington, DE15 contributionsLots of choices for walking paths. Great for kids and adults. Plenty of playground activities. Dogs allowed while on a leash and free bags for feces disposal.
Water available in some areas for dogs as well.Written September 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The visitor center houses the Passport Stamp. The staff at the visitor center was helpful and the area was beautiful.Written August 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SambaSanibel Island, FL762 contributionsFirst time to this beautiful park and pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to do a 2 mile walk from the visitor center to the creek. The trail is a little steep but it is paved the whole way, wide and very shady for the longest portion of the trail. It was a hot day but it did not feel so on the trail. Did not see many birds but may have had a lifer sighting of a couple of Broad-winged Hawks.Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - saramatthewsPhiladelphia191 contributionsFox Point is an unusual state park and an unusual bit of land. These four acres were a Superfund site - that became the passion project of a local citizen who urged these few polluted acres be repurposed and become a riverside park. The industrial waste was covered with plastic, the plastic was covered with dirt, grass was planted, picnic benches and a playground were added.
There’s also a walking path - you can walk it or stand on it for the incredible view of the Delaware River that it offers - look across to New Jersey, look left and right to see two of the massive bridges that span this wide river - and look around to see families picnicking -
There are no foxes at Fox Point - and there is Noise from I- 95 - but this small park gives you a great view of a large river -Written March 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
