We visited here for the first time on a weekend in Sept. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the place was. The tickets were very reasonable; some rides only required one or two tickets. The haunted house was so much fun for kids and adults alike. My grandchildren loved this place! My adult daughter and son-in-law loved the games. We will definitely return here if we are in the area.

The trail is marked 2.6 miles, that is to the point and not round trip as far as I can tell. We walked a little over a half mile and it started to rain so we turned back. Our second attempt that afternoon we got to the first lookout point where the towers from WWII are visible but then turned back because of time and a dinner reservation. We never got to see the walkways others have posted. The pond was rather depleted of water. I think they drain it in spring. But still it was a lovely walk (we were the only walkers, lots of biker passing us by). Between the pond and the boardwalk, I got 12000 steps in one day, so that made me happy!

Fun place to hang out and step out on the beach in the off season. Visited in late April, and I'm guessing the summers are more crowded. Definitely check out Thrasher's French Fries, but guard your cup because seagulls like to swoop down. In fact, that's just true of all food.

As an avid trail rider, this was just the thing I needed to get off the beaten path at the beach and I managed to do 18 miles thanks to another reviewer’s expert advice. Do yourself a favor and check it out. It was so easy to follow signage from Lewes public libretto to downtown Rehoboth and then back up through Henlopen acres through Gordon’s Pond and up Rt. 9 to Lewes again. Flat terrain, some shade and incredible views. Make sure you leave time for a stop at Whiskey Beach. It’s gorgeous!

I stayed at site 433 for 2 nights. The site was level, there were sewer, water, and electricity hookups. The only issue I had was the 30 amp outlet didn’t work. Luckily I had a converted for the 50 amp to 30 amp connection but it could have been very unfortunate if I didn’t. There was no campground attendant on duty and it was around Labor Day weekend. Overall, the site was nicely maintained and they had a laundry facility onsite. Being close to the Charles Cullen bridge made it easy to eat at Big Chill Beach Club and walk to Coin Beach.

What an amazing small theater. We are fairly new to the area and have seen Little Shop of Horrors and Misery. Two very different shows but equally performed by very talented casts. We are now buying season tickets and look forward to viewing many wonderful shows. Kudos Clear Space!!!

Fortunate enough to be in Rehoboth Beach on Tuesday for the Farmer's Market. Lots of booths with a wide variety of products. We bought some amazing local strawberries, local honey, jams from Backyard Jams & Jellies, and some pastries. Live music by a guitarist was great. Lovely location in a local park, good 20 minute walk from the boardwalk area.

Very good experience in the regular hours in the day and during the lantern tour.
Website says the museum opens at 8 on Saturday but audio tour is available only starting from 9 on the Delaware Seashore State Park's website. That is not true. The audio tour is available by dialing a number, so I suppose you can try it right now.
In one room, you are told to flip the switch to see the original paint of the house, but if you are visiting in the day and do not know where to look, you'd be very puzzled as I was. Look UP! I hope they have added an arrow there after I talked to them.
Very affordable admission fee, $4 for adults.

The Joni Mitchell song “Big Yellow Taxi” has a line that goes:
“They took all the trees, they put them in a tree museum
They charged the people a dollar and a half just to see them.”
Anyone who has been coming to Rehoboth since the before-time (pre-outlets) must be as horrified as I am about the rampant development and destruction of natural resources that has occurred here. What used to be a peaceful little town on the ocean is forever a booming mini-metropolis surrounded by the blight of commercialism and developers’ greed.
Mercifully, an oasis remains. Henlopen Acres, a heavily deed-restricted community, is home to a property that has stood nearly unchanged since the mid-1700’s. We are fortunate that the Corkran family in 1938 left behind the legacy of the Rehoboth Art League. The ancient home and barn, while maintaining their historic integrity, have been repurposed into gallery and studio space, respectively. Just down the hill is a more recently constructed gallery that blends organically into the bucolic pine forest. All around, it is a refreshingly stark contrast to the madness only minutes away.
Open year round, visitors can gaze at a continually changing exhibit of local artwork, much of it well-curated, and of high quality. Nearly every piece is for sale, and at surprisingly reasonable prices. There are also special events here like the RAL Outdoor show in August, and the Cottage Tour, one of the town’s best happenings.
Visitors should take a break from the beach, boardwalk, and shops, and come visit the tranquil surroundings of the Rehoboth Art League. It will remind you why this area has been a getaway from hectic life for over 300 years.

I visited Silver Lake during my mini vacation in Rehoboth Beach in July 2022. I walked to the south end of the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and made a right at Prospect Street. After a block I was at Silver Lake. Silver Lake is huge and if I had had more time I would have explored it more. There was a waterside gazebo, some docks on the lake and in the distance some fountains. If you look more to the left across the lake then there are many private homes. I think next time I will walk around the lake and explore it some more. This time I just took a quick photo, looked at the gazebo and the docks and fountains in the distance and returned to the boardwalk.

This was one of those happy unplanned experiences. We decided at the last minute to turn off the road and we are glad we did. A lovely picturesque marina with a restaurant and shop. We sat and looked at the boats enjoying the beautiful October sun. Spotlessly clean and ample free parking, we spent an enjoyable hour here.

Perfect spot to drink great craft beer & eat awsome wings & wood fired pizza. Personall & friendly atmosphere. Aaron our bartender was a delight to converse with, his friendly & attentive manner made our experience one of the best parts of our weekend get away.
