There's a road that you can drive up to the trail head or you can park at the gate and hike up the road to the trail head.
Campbell Falls State Park

You can park at the main entrance and hike 15 minutes to the falls or park right off the falls and just hike down to them (less than 10 min) either way they are worth the trip.
So we drove up route 272 another half mile or so to the second entrance to Campbell Falls State Park, found the parking area, and took the short, somewhat steep hike down to the falls from there.
