This square is a great place to people watch, start a horse-drawn carriage ride, browse the handful of souvenirs vendors (pretty decent prices, actually) and start each day's activities.
It's fun to walk around and check things out, it's fun to sit and watch all that is going on, It reminds me of Jackson Square in NOLA only friendlier and much more active.
