    Canyon Tour - 6 Hours

    My partner and I had an amazing time with Somoto Canyon Tours! We caught the bus from Leon and were picked up in Somoto and taken to our lodge for the evening. The room was great, very comfortable bed. We had a delicious, traditional meal!! We started the canyon tour at 8am the next morning and it was perfect. Beautiful sights and our guide was so helpful showing us animals and plants we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Rapids, rock jumping, so much fun!!! Would highly recommend this tour!!!! Our favourite tour in Nicaragua.

    Amazing adventure in the Somoto Canyon
    My husband and I did the middle-sized tour of 4h with Juan and it was a lot of fun and adventure!! He was super friendly and motivated, gave us waterproof bags and life jackets and always made sure we were feeling confortable throughout the whole tour. We had lunch at his sister's-in-law and it was delicious! The adventure is really worth it and by booking with Juan you support a local independent guide (he speaks Spanish and English) and many more people from his community. Totally recommend him!

    I left a full review under Tours with Juan Ordoñez. He is incredible, going with him supports the local economy, and it was just one of the best days of my life. He invited me into his home for a traditional meal with his family, and honestly it was as meaningful as the canyon. He is a kind, generous man, knowledgeable and sincere. Recommend 1000%.
