Very large mountain close to city , great views , hiking , biking, could have rattle snakes in the summer
In the summer, it gets very dry up on Green Mountain, so be mindful that this mountain catches fire easily.

Enjoyed strolling in this lovely park in a quiet neighborhood near the Capitol Hill area of Denver with lovely views of the snow-capped Rockies.
Though it was a Friday, there was still quite a bit of activity, from pickup sports games, to families picnicking, to folk just strolling, but it was a beautiful, cool July day, so ideal to enjoy the park.

There are a lot of things named Bear Creek in this part of the Denver area because of the stream that flows from Evergreen down through this park and on to its confluence with the South Platte River in Englewood.
Highly recommend for exercise and a good time in nature with the family.
