- Wanderer619096406982 contributionsThis was my second Half Day trip with WWR LLC. Was so impressed with the scenery on my first trip that I had to make another one. Morgan was our guide again, and she proved to be highly spirited, extremely informative, and most entertaining x-)). You may even get to see a train or two on Union Pacific's Glenwood Springs Subdivision (which parallels the river for most of the trip).
I purchased one of their waterproof floating pouches for my phone so that I could take photos of the unforgettable scenery. I recommend you do the same. Otherwise, you risk sacrificing it to the Colorado River.
The only downside was the photo packages. When I was there, I was informed that you could either buy the package of around sixty digital photos for $60, or a single photo for $38. If I were running the show, I'd offer a few more options than just those two for the customers.
Other than that, the experience was totally worth it. Mostly mild, went through a few little rough spots but not bad and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
