- Looking for something to do before a late evening flight out of Denver airport and found this listed in Trip Advisor. A car enthusiast so this was an easy pick. The show cars of 1957 perfect! A wide variety of cars for the era. The train cars on display were very interesting to view. The transportation includes a small helicopter, Indian motorcycles, bicycles, mail truck, and school bus. We were fortunate to meet the owner of the 1957 mercury. The staff is very nice. There is a small gift shop and the restrooms were clean. We spent 2 hours and one of us could have stayed longer! Thank you!Written September 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- I was very satisfied with my first trip to this museum and plan to be back when visiting Denver in the future. The salon presentations made great sense to me, giving a very organized and visually appealing review of art and design in the recent century.
Kirkland’s work was new to me, but I found his early watercolors and most recent dot paintings my favorite.Written September 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- The Ballpark Museum is a hidden gem for all true baseball fans. The curator has gone to great lengths to secure treasures from America’s greatest ballparks. The Museum
Is a must visit for any true respecter of the game. An unexpected surprise was seeing Babe Ruth’s 1932 Federal Income Tax Return. Well worth the time to visit. Staff is very helpful and appreciative of our visit.Written September 23, 2022
- We recently hosted our oldest daughter's wedding at the Balistreri Vineyards. The whole experience could not have been any better. From the very beginning, when we viewed the venue with one of the event coordinators, via FaceTime call, to the wedding menu tasting, which one of our other daughters attended for us, things could not have been more perfect. The venue was absolutely beautiful, our day of wedding coordinator had no issues getting into the venue and getting everything ready with the help of the wonderful staff. Even a day before change of table linen color, by the bride was not even a minor issue. The wait staff during the event were fabulous, from the bartenders to the bus boys. This was the wedding that my daughter had always dreamed of and this beautiful Winery and the incredible staff made her and her new husband's day absolutely perfectWritten June 18, 2022
- I've been to this museum before for a child's birthday party (it was great for that!) and brought my visiting brother's family back when we were exploring the town. It was interesting and fun and it doesn't take too too long. There is a good gift shop and firetruck on which kids can dress up and play.Written May 13, 2020

- The American Museum of Western Art in Denver, Colorado, is the permanent home for the Anshutz Collection, a formerly private collection of paintings that surveys the art of the American West from the early 19th century to the present. Located at 1727 Tremont Place, the museum was founded in 2010 and features a collection of art that spans nearly two centuries, including examples of early American expeditionary painting, Hudson River School and Rocky Mountain School landscapes, 19th century American narrative painting, early American modernism , Expressionism, Cubism and Abstraction, American Regionalism, New Deal Art and Abstract Expressionism. But the Anschutz Collection is the main attraction. It is the outcome of the efforts made over 50 years by the Anschutz family and businessman Philip Anschutz, a lover of art who established a fortune in oil, real estate and telecommunications and traveled widely to 10 different foreign countries to promote American Idealism and acquire masterpieces that are on display in the museum. The Anschutz collection is made up of over 600 paintings, drawings and sculptures representing more than 180 artists. Among the most noted paintings are Burial on the Plains (1890) by Richard Lorenz, The Death of Minnehaha (1892) by William de Leftwich Dodge and The Peacemaker (1913) by Ernest L. Blumenschein.Written September 28, 2022
- We pulled off the freeway and parked in the lot on the left facing the Buffalo (Bison) Overlook. There were no bison at the time near the parking area, but we did see the bison up above in the trees (maybe 500 to 1,000 feet away). We did not do any trails in the park, but we did drive from this area to Lookout Mountain which has Wild Bill Cody's grave and a great view of Golden, CO and Denver (if it is clear).Written August 20, 2021
- Stem Ciders is a nice place. My husband and I tried the fruit ciders. I have had better they were pretty bitter more like beer/ipa taste. It has a nice patio and indoor seating. There are board games to use as well. The inside is cooler. The part of the city it’s nearby has a cool vibe.Written September 7, 2022
- Small brewery and a bit off the main road. However, bartenders were friendly and it wasn’t too crowded. Really enjoyed their Mexican lager with prickly pear cactus and lime. I like to try lots of different beers and hadn’t seen anything like it!Written May 20, 2022
