Great historic place to hang out. Love coming here although the downtown area can be a little questionable especially late at night. Good restaurants and vibe in the area.

It can get pretty packed, especially on weekends. Like, elbow-to-elbow kinda packed. But hey, that's part of the fun, right? Lots of cool shops, good eats, and street performers to check out.

If you've experienced Larimer Square (LS) in the pre-pandemic past, on a return visit nowadays you'll likely notice quite a few empty locations -- though probably no more than throughout Denver's downtown ... or any major American city. And LS still provides a healthy variety of restaurants, anchored on the eastern edge by the wonderful Ocean Prime and on the western edge by the always busy, much loved Tamayo. But for something a little beyond conventional, try the mid-block Corridor 44 -- featuring Denver's only "champagne bar," (though I didn't touch champagne and still had a considerable selection of cocktails). Regardless where you dine, Larimer Square is still an energizing and winning experience.

We missed the tour, but got to see the House and Senate on our own. We scheduled to go up to the dome, but a fire alarm changed that plan. Still, it was nice to know that a dome tour is an option, since one cannot enter on their own.

We arrived at 10 am and got a noon tour that lasted until 1:15 pm tour. Free tickets are available only day of. When we went in June no coins were actually being minted, which was sad. Still we learned a lot and enjoyed this free tour. If you bring an empty water bottle in, you can fill it with water once inside the mint. Immediately after exiting security, there are two floors of extremely interesting displays related to money. I would have liked to spend more time there. The gift shop near the tour entrance is air-conditioned. You can also change dollars for coins in a machine.

Beautiful park! Fun to stroll around, bike around, lots of green space in a convenient location. Enjoyed the playground too—fun even for older kids!

Such a cute area! Stayed at a downtown hotel (Indigo) and was able walk to many restaurants. Nice area and felt safe. Amtrak can take you straight there from airport.

We visited the Cathedral when was mass in process so we took part in it. After we went around and were amazed by the beauty of stained glass windows. Later we found they are 75 there! Not too many people were there but it was weekday. On the way there we saw a few homeless/drug addict who asked for money. It is worth to visit it.

The Cherry Creek Trail is great for running and bike riding. You can go for miles in either direction from downtown. There are a couple stretches near downtown that you want to more alert but overall there are usually plenty of people around.

We went to city park specifically for the playground. The park itself is large with a lot of parking on the streets in the park. It was a little tricky navigating our way into the park because the Gps said arrived but we were at a one way street going the wrong way.
The playground was great! My whole family liked it. There were some options there I’ve never seen before! Lots of places to sit and wasn’t too crowded when we were there on a Tuesday morning/afternoon. We walked to the duck pond across the street too.
We first went to Central Park in Denver which is amazing, but the playground there is under construction (April 2023). It looks like it will be awesome when finished though.

I had my daughters bridal shower here and it was absolutely amazing. The food, drinks and staff were amazing. I would recommend any one to check this place out and especially if you are hosting an event.

It is a beautiful public park in the middle of the city. Towering apratment buildings all around, century old homes and boarding houses on the edge, beautiful dwellings down the street all empty into this beautiful public green.

It was so lush! No bare spots where soccer kids had worn the grass a way. No paths cut thru to the dirt where peole took short cuts across the grasee. Just big, beautiful and green.

Grab some drinks or coffee and enjoy the peaceful tranquility for an hour or so!

My wife and I visited this taproom. She is not a beer drinker so we weren’t sure if there was anything for her here, but the bartender suggested the raspberry ale which worked ok for her. I had one of their beer samplers (4 four ounce glasses). My favorites were the Titan IPA and Yeti dark beer.
