- fmjmclarkPasadena, CA140 contributionsAs visitors to Denver, we rented bikes (because, we were in DENVER, right?) We did lots of bike riding along Cherry Creek. The only challenge was getting up to the roads from the trail, there were do directional signs telling us which exit lead to which street, so we kept having to stop on the bikes and look at Google maps. Also, be prepared for a fair number of homeless and mentally ill. They did not bother us, but some were trippin' pretty bad. :-(. - urbanguyRichmond, VA5,104 contributionsOn this, our latest visit to the Denver area for a H.S. graduation, our granddaughter took us for a walk on the High Line Canal Trail. I'm not quite sure where we entered the trail, but it was not too far from E. Caley Avenue. We lucked out in that there was not too much foot or bike traffic that day.
The folks in the Denver area are "blessed" to have this in their midst.
