We had an amazing day wandering around the gardens. One would never know you are in the heart of Denver as there is a peaceful solace felt. There are too many sections and unique areas to explain them all. Suffice to say there are representations of various plants/trees/climates from around the world. Flowers and trees bud/flower at various times so you are guaranteed for various colorful sights and smells. Well worth a visit!

We had a few things planned for our one day in Denver. I'm glad that we went to the museum first, because we managed to spend the entire afternoon here.

There were lots of great, interactive exhibits for Space. The rock and gem collection was extensive. The ancient cultures was informative and included current events for native Americans. The animal collection was large, and well designed to really show the scale of some of these rare or extinct animals.

Love this museum. Incredible installations and truly crazy wonderful architecture. A funny thing to beware of: walking around inside the museum can make you a bit dizzy due to the trippy architecture.

Vivian provided a rich and in-depth picture of a courageous woman who never stopped being a supporter of the down-trodden, unrepresented, and under-privileged. Made me proud, and yet called me to continue to be strong and courageous in my own small corner.

The museum has a fantastic selection of mechanical marvels to mystify one’s mind. The staff are very knowledgeable and so welcoming. You have to see the locomotive Big Boy’s humbling size up close. Hidden gem of Denver, definite must!

There are four floors of exhibits depicting the history of Colorado. We spent several hours looking at the exhibits and reading about Colorado. We parked in a pay parking lot about one and a half blocks away and there is an admission charge.

Very well laid out small museum containing many good examples of contemporary art over the past 100 years or so. I'd never heard of Vance Kirkland before and enjoyed seeing the various stages of his art alongside other pieces

Another on the list of Denver attractions. Wide variety of air and space exhibits. A good tour for people of all ages with exhibits specifically for young kids.

A wonderful museum for a great AMERICAN artist, don’t miss the ground floor and his studio make up etc. A small charming museum with some of his greatest works, beautiful and a must when in town.

Fascinating look at a turn of the twentieth century family. Being able to have family belongings remain more or less intact is amazing.

I've been to this museum before for a child's birthday party (it was great for that!) and brought my visiting brother's family back when we were exploring the town. It was interesting and fun and it doesn't take too too long. There is a good gift shop and firetruck on which kids can dress up and play.

We visited the Money Museum (bring valid Drivers License or Passport) not recalling knowing what to expect, this is not the US Mint. It was fine display of the history or US currency but a little lacking in explaining.
Very nice for young children as it also caters to them.
Overall worth the visit if you are in the area.

This is a fine collection of Western art displayed across 3 stories of an historic house. It is a private collection displaying the passion of the Anschutz family for Western Art. Over 250 years of art is represented, from early travel paintings commissioned by railways to Thomas Hill’s grand vistas to Georgia O’Keefe’s Southwestern art. The audio guide provides an excellent interpretation of the collection.
