This Is quite a large place with a lot to look at and do for being a botanical garden. We were there about 3 hours and didn't even go across the street to the Children's Garden at all. You could stay longer if the movie had been running, and if you looked through all the art exhibits as well. It appears to host many events at various parts of the park as well.

Have not been here in 5 years. Its a long street thats pedestrian and (used to be?) bus only. Here's whats changed. Lots of construction that has sections closed. However, the re-opened sections are very nice and (appear to be) bus free now. Many businesses have moved on but the area seems MUCH nicer (less drugs and homeless) than just 5 years prior. YMMV.

This is a good stop if you want to just kill some time and like to shop. Variety of stores. Perhaps not as lively as a few years ago but I am sure it will revive during the holiday shopping season.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites across the street. It was nice with teenagers to have the restaurants and shops when we wanted to break up our sight seeing.

This was one of our favorite stops in Denver. We thought there was more shopping in here. Went to the top of the hotel for the bar and food. Beautiful views!!

We stopped in to the arts district for a quick visit. There are a number of shops and galleries. The best thing was all of the murals that were painted on a number of the buildings along the way. There were quite a few and most were pretty good.

This is the most amazing gallery. Within the last few years it moved to an historic building in LoDo near Larimer Square. The new location is stunning and really gives the beautiful contemporary art space.

I love all of the artists represented and the variety of work, from paintings to sculptures to mixed media. The owner has a great eye and I can envision many pieces in my home. The service is great, the staff helps you find the right piece for your spot and will even photoshop art on your wall to get an idea of how it looks in your space.

I highly recommend visiting Mirada Fine Art.

Good time, but a little confusing on which way to good and shouldn’t be sent to other room with out all the crystals. Over all good time, family pack made it affordable.

I collect maps, esp places where I have been. I love old maps, and they have a significant collection. They also have vintage prints of all sorts, and you are welcome to browse thru. Purchase process is good

Such a nice bookstore. They have everything. Books, hidden nooks to read those books, coffee and treats to enjoy as your read those books in your nooks. I like them, Sam I Am, I do like books with my green eggs and ham.

Such a nice place to browse, soak up the atmosphere and history. The people there know their stuff and kind find anything for you. As the biggest independent books store in the country they do a fine showing.

This is a great place to visit to take a break from the hustle and bustle of visiting the train station , botanical gardens, and capital.

I attended a launch party for a new Event Planning Business at Space Gallery. Although the neighborhood seemed a bit rough and parking is tight, the Space Gallery is a lovely venue. Dapper, the event planning company, had many vendors set up through out the space and each one seemed to have plenty of room to move and take care of attendees. The acoustics are a bit tough if one would decide to have loud music here. When a loud band was playing...no talking or listening was really possible.
Lovely spot with a lot of potential!

Art is obviously personal; however, you’ll still enjoy the variety of artists and mediums represented at this gallery. The gallery staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you see something you like, they will work with you on pricing, as you will be hard-pressed to find the same piece of art at a lower price elsewhere. Enjoy the gallery.

We went Friday night to the opening reception of Ditto Gallery in Denver, and were blown away. The gallery promotes emerging artists and affordable art with an art-on-demand concept. They had original paintings and Giclees hanging and if you loved something, but couldn't fork over $4,000, they could digitally reproduce one for a quarter the price. I did see people buying the originals as well.

I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting, or live in Denver. The atmosphere is chill, they have some of the best art that's out there, and you can actually afford it.

Also they had a cool flat screen on the wall, called a Digi-canvas, that was showing more art from each of the artist exhibiting.
