There were all kinds of performances, singing, instrumental performances, sword swallowing, and karaoke. The setting and drinks were great and the whole event provided a great impression of Denver. - Maeve B1 contribution4.5 would be more fair than 5 star. First of all; Owner and the crew is always welcoming and heart warming. If you are queer and have a one night in Denver, you have to get a drink. If you are hungry next door is voodoo doughnuts. Every night is different event going on, I’ve been there 3-4 months so far so good. I’ve never felt like “it’s quiet I’m bored” or “ eew not enough hygienic, dirtier than my soul…” it’s always clean neat and full of life. - TJ MeiersDenver, CO87 contributionsDenver Trade is a great gay bar! The staff and bartenders are always very welcoming with a huge smile. The type of crowd ranges daily from a sleazy dirty Thursday underwear night, to brunch on Sundays, to even BINGO nights too! They usually keep their Facebook pretty updated with all of their events so if you’re in town visiting or just want to know what’s going on I recommend checking there. The same owners who own Trade also on a bar literally across the street called Glady’s: The Nosy Neighbor which is also great to check out on my favorite night on Thursdays for their drag show. The drinks are very inexpensive at Trade and have a huge selection of infused vodkas as well. Best nights to go are on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evenings. - SabienHouston108 contributionsThis place was near downtown and recently moved a few miles north. Can't say I love the location as it's not as easily accessible from downtown. The new venue is much nicer however. On the downside, it's been pretty quiet each time I have been there. The daytime bartender, Jack, is the star of the bar, so to speak. Very personable and makes excellent drinks. The other bartenders don't appear to be either as friendly or attentive. They do serve some food which is definitely edible and inexpensive. Good bar food. Overall my main complaint would have to be that most of the bartenders just seem a little distant and not necessarily welcoming to anyone other than the regulars. - Soe ReiMiami Beach, FL1 contributionI’m traveling with my personal item backpack, and the bouncer looked at me with such disgust like I was carrying the bubonic plague. He wanted to look inside my bags, but wouldn’t open it himself. So weird to have me open my bag so you can look in it.
Cover charge: They are allegedly charging ten dollars on Saturday nights with a near empty bar and outdoor patio. The bouncer just pointed inside and said pay over there b/c even though they have armed security, there isn’t any money being passed at the door.
The bouncers overall attitude stunk. And after a little dialogue I decided to take my business to Denver Sweets.
