That being said, the van ride was informative, and the ride back (with car karaoke) was delightful. Our tour guide, Loring, was awesome! He was so informative and helpful. He made sure we were all taken care of, and seem to truly love what he was doing. Not only did I learn about Pikes Peak, but so much about the area surrounding Pikes Peak. He also helped with pictures! - Venture7694885 contributionsMy husband and I LOVED our ride. This was our first time on e-bikes, but Nikki had us up to speed in no time. The bikes were new and very easy to operate. My husband said it was one of his favorite outings ever. Sites were amazing, pace was just right and Nikki was a gracious guide. We learned so much about the history of the Colorado Springs area and fun facts about geology and animals and the plant life in the area. The tour includes water and snacks, and several stops for bathroom breaks and picture taking. The food alone was well worth taking the tour but Kathy's information about Colorado Springs history and the local restaurant scene made it even better. We highly recommend this tour. It was just the right amount of walking. The variety of foods and restaurants was excellent. Bonus: he’s a great photographer and took so many great pictures of us as a couple and of the scenery throughout our ride.
