The Bridge walks looks challenging from a distance, but once you reach the bridge you realize that, it is made in such a way that the walk is very easy and it is so strong that they also have a special boggy to ride on it.

There is a small parking area near the start which allows you to walk on some of the tracks and enjoy the views. Not a lot of shade, so go early If it's summer. Also, the Colorado Museum of Prisons is only a mile down the road. - melwashere81Cleveland, TX3,441 contributionsI love dinosaurs so I definitely had to stop here. There are 4 activities to choose from: the museum, the dino walk, the rope course, and the dig. We only did the museum and the dino walk. The museum was very interesting. There was a guide who walked us through and told us so many things I had never heard before! It was very informative and interesting. This was our favorite part! The dino walk is ok. This would probably be better for kids since the dinosaurs have motion sensors and move and roar when you walk near them. I mean it was cool but I've been to dinosaur world in Glen Rose, TX and it's way better. It's definitely worth the price of admission though which is pretty reasonable. Parking is free and there is a nice sized gift shop as well. We really enjoyed seeing the fossils discovered right there so locally, many of them on Skyline Drive. The views were beautiful, and we had a great time. - Cheryel P1 contributionMy friends and I booked our ride/trip to celebrate the Christmas holiday as a gesture to finish the spectacular ending to 2024. What a ride so why not take another ride on the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. We enjoyed every second of it. We couldn't resist watching Santa and his merry elves as they stopped by to talk to the children. The waitstaff was quite accommodating and took time to stop by on more than one occasion to make sure we had what we needed. The Open Air car is a must - no obstructions and the photography bugs were in heaven.

It rained a lot but we couldn’t have had a better guide who was so fun and positive! Loved it!!! - uabamagirl92Orlando, FL4 contributionsHIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was visiting Colorado too early for snow fun so we were looking for something different to do. We chose the Royal Gorge Jeep and Train Tours. Different kind of mountain ranges (desert) and absolutely breathtaking. Colorado Jeep Tours is top notch and the customer service and people are wonderful. Mike was our guide in the Jeep and he knows everything you could want to know. We were so engrossed in everything we didn't need to take pictures while driving. He stopped in great places for photo ops for us.
