- Noemi JohnsonMurrieta, CA24 contributionsI visited Wilson Creek Winery recently and had a wonderful time! When you arrive, you'll notice that there's designated member parking on the left and regular parking on the right. The winery provides a convenient golf cart service that drives around and offers complimentary pick-ups. Entrance to the winery is free, but you have the option to become a member, which allows you to pick up your wine or have it delivered.
As you explore the winery, you'll come across a lovely picnic area with a charming small pond and a bridge. It's important to note that bringing your own food is not allowed. The first building on the right is where you can purchase tickets, wine tastings, and merchandise. Additionally, there are restroom facilities located on the left side of this building, both downstairs and upstairs. The second floor is exclusively reserved for members.
For those who prefer to avoid the stairs, there are elevators available on the right side of the building, and stairs located on the outside of the building to the left. You can freely roam around the winery, find a place to purchase tickets, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. There's plenty of space to spread out, making it a great spot to bring your picnic blanket and have a leisurely time on the grass with your family.
If you're feeling hungry, the winery is home to the Creekside Grille, an American restaurant with a menu that can be found on wilsoncreekwinery.com. I highly recommend making reservations, as the restaurant tends to get busy. The prices range from $20 to $30 per person. Additionally, there are banquet rooms located across the main building, and restrooms can be found upstairs in that building as well.
To make a reservation at the Creekside Grille, you can either call or book online. The staff at Wilson Creek Winery are incredibly friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained. It's a great place for people-watching, as many visitors are dressed to impress. If you're a fan of live music, be sure to check the winery's website for upcoming events and performances.Written September 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Be sure to check that out, it's a thrill. Wines have won some pretty impressive awards and are the best in Temecula.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AvmigKlamath Falls, OR215 contributionsOur first time at this particular winery for wine tasting and lunch. First up was the wine tasting and had some incredible wines one of which was called Angry Wife! The sommelier was extremely friendly and funny. Then onto the gorgeous patio for lunch. The food was very good as was the service. Would definitely stop here again. Check it out.Written July 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bebe44Long Beach, CA739 contributionsSuch a fabulous experience. Beautiful place inside & outside. Chef Jonathan Gelman is the real deal…unbelievable chef! My best girlfriends & I went there for my birthday. Totally over the top! And the ambiance was truly beautiful. Cuisine…let’s talk…I had the scallops which were jumbo, moist & the flavorful condiments with it were extraordinary. All of the appetizers…whoa! Try the charcuterie, bacon wrapped figs etc etc just wonderful. If you want a true dining experience, this is it in Temecula. And, of course, the vino delish!Written November 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jobsy72Whitby, Canada24 contributionsFirst winery on our tour and they didn’t disappoint. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and guided our tasting based on our taste buds. The grounds were beautiful and had that old style feel. They had a live band playing various types of music. The wines we tasted were as described by the sommelier. Great atmosphere. We highly recommend this placeWritten May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Shawn Z4 contributionsI can’t say enough great things about Doffo Wines! From the moment you step onto the property, you can feel the passion and care that goes into every part of the experience. The vineyard itself is stunning—beautiful vines, rustic charm, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re visiting family.
The wine? Simply exceptional. I tried a few of their single varietals, and each one had its own distinct character. You can truly tell that the team at Doffo takes their craft seriously, with attention to detail that shines through in every sip.Written September 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a cool place, even when the weather seemed changeable. This was my first visit here, but had it on my list given it is dog friendly.
My server, Cody, was excellent. Vibrant and hospitable; Cody knew the menu and the wines and helped me find one to my liking ( I went with the Grenache).
I had a Greek salad either a side of salmon. The greens were so fresh and the salmon still warm. The portion was great; I wound up packing half to take home.
A tip to the visitor: do not park in the employee parking lot as I inadvertently did. The incline and gravel make it near impossible to get to the patio ; I had to sidestep it like a ski slope!Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The food is good as well. The GM is incredibly inflexible on changing out your wine shipments (there are some wines we prefer more than others) for members and they charge a "handling fee" for member shipments. Those two items are my only frustration. The grounds are beautiful, the food delicious, and the wines are our favorite in the valley. If you like sweet wines, their La Rosa is amazing! If you like reds, their Barbera and Zinfandel are our favorites.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J EFredericksburg, VA11,648 contributionsWhile staying a couple of nights in LaJolla we decided to drive out to Temecula, as we hadn’t been there in about 8 years. We didn’t have a set list of which wineries to visit, so we came across this one first and stopped.
The place is beautiful! Reminded us a lot of Napa Valley vineyards and wineries. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The wines were decent. Tasting wasn’t too high priced, $25/pp for 6 one ounce pours.
Bottle prices were definitely reasonable. It’s definitely a nice place to buy a bottle, sit outside in their garden and sip!Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ConnieLongBeachLong Beach325 contributionsI had lunch at Avensole several years ago and remembered it as being very good so my husband and I decided to come at wine tasting and to hear the Sunday afternoon music. We made a reservation and were seated at a lovely table. The wine tasting was informative and the wines quite good. We shared a small charcuterie which was more than enough for 2. The singer was very good as well. it didn't get hot til aobut 2:30. They were good fans and misters. My only suggestion woudl be to star the music an hour earlier to avoid the heat. We will be back!Written July 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- MBN134050Redlands, CA667 contributionsOutstanding winery tucked away in Temecula. We found it by chance when we were searching for wineries that are open late during the week. Wow, we were not disappointed! The locals who go there are very friendly, and gave us great recommendations while we waited in line. Their Chardonnay is incredible, as well as their zinfandels. Wine slushie is good too - not syrupy sweet at all like so many.
Here is how much we endorse this winery- we signed up for the wine club on our very first visit. They have outstanding deals if you want a little or a lot of wine shipped to you every few months. It’s a casual and low-key type of vibe, and very cozy. Can’t wait to go back for our free glasses all month long!Written September 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Did a group tour and this was one of the stops. Friendly staff made you feel comfortable, whether you are a connoisseur or novice. The wines were very good. A must stop if visiting Temecula.Written March 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Diane D2 contributionsGreat spot to taste wines and have lunch.
We enjoyed our wine tasting and outside table view. Thought the tasting fee of $22 was high, especially since none of that fee went to buying a bottle. We probably would have bought a couple of bottles if even a portion of tasting fee went against the bottle prices.
