Arden Fair is a hidden gem of a mall. It has a good variety of stores. Is a good place to get some exercise as it is elongated. The diversity and variety of food is better than so many other malls. Great place to cool off when it's 100+ degrees in Sacramento.

We have been to this market twice, so far the best farmer's market we have ever been to anywhere in the country. Dozens of food truck options, a bar, fruit/veggtables, several bands. Must do in Sac!

We went here looking for an antique glass lamp shade and we fund one, and 2 almost vintage Aquaman ice tea glasses in perfect condition. Oh and everything was 20% off for Mother's Day weekend.

What a fun way to browse tons of antiques for sale and a huge assortment of items! Fair prices, bargains, and the unusual as well!
Opens 6:30am and goes til 3pm, we usually get through all venders in 2 hours, having a grand time of it!

Came here on a Saturday night for a party -- complete with a DJ and slide show. One young man from the collective was our point person for the evening, and he was charming, efficient and hardworking. One of the ways this organization helps out the community is to give work and connections for at risk youth. That alone would be reason to have an event here. The location is rather small, and nothing that fancy, so depending on the number of people you wanted to attend and the kind of event you were having -- this may or may not be the place for you. The whole event came off without a hitch, and we left in a festive mood. It's not cheap to rent out the space, though, so save your pennies!

Most of the vendors are small private sellers who've been there for years. Wide variety of items from furniture to collectibles.. Definitely a place you'll want to come back to more than once. On a busy street but parking isn't an issue but more crowded on weekends. This is a quite a distance from downtown Sacramento.

The K Street Mall could only be given an average rating at best. Don’t see it as somewhere to put on a list unless you needed something specific.

    To friends and Visitors,

I have visited the Art Foundry Gallery many times over the last ten years and have always enjoyed the upscale art that was featured. The reception and event of June 9th 2011 was particularly special. The first part of the evening allowed guest to meet and visit while enjoying food wine and laughter.

The spiritaul art work of Thekla Hammond along with the performance of THE SINE NOMINE ACAPPELLA QUARTET, in which she also participated was a blending of two arts in real time. The flow of uplifting spiritual images along with the performance of the quartet telling timeless stories in melodic harmonic form was both meditative and transforming. . IT WAS AN, "OUT OF THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE"

i would highly recommend to visitors any future receptions and gallery viewings. The gallery always features new and unique accomplished artists. It is one of the few galleries that also presents a variety of sculptures or three dimentional art. The floor space is such that these pieces can be staged in such a way that the viewer can walk around the sculpture and experience it fully.

To all visitors, If you have not done so take advantage of the live demonstration of molten bronze pourings during saturday evening art walks. It a chance to see an ancient skill being perserved, performed and brought into the future..

    With Appreciation!

This gallery is easily the best gallery to visit in Sacramento. It has a large, always changing exhibition and usually exhibiting a solo artist as well. The people that run the gallery make everyone comfortable, which is why I have been visiting at least once if not several times a month for several years. They have a broad selection of art from economical to moderately expensive for art. They are open on 2nd Saturday evenings and occasional Saturday morning sales. I have purchased close to a dozen pieces from the gallery.

Quick tasty food. I had ham and cheese ... don't forget to pick up the mayo or mustard. I would choose them again.

If you are lucky enough to transfer through the B terminal at Sacramento airport and if you have a little bit of time before (or after) your flight, Vino Volo is a good place to have a relaxing stop and sip some nice wine. Recommend trying their always-changing wine flights (red or white) to sample varieties or order a healthy glass of one. Fun to experiment with wines you may not otherwise experience. We usually leave with a bottle or two for our final destination. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The gallery in it's self is worth the visit, the brick walls, cast iron spiral stairs that go no where, and the lovely tiny garden at the back; oh yes and the modern art which is always cut edge. This has been a monthly favorite for many years. A must see of the art seen in Sacto.

For years I passed up on this, thinking all they had was unusual produce that I had no idea what they were or how to use them. I finally decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. Not only do they have many of the more common fruits and vegetables, but they have many I rarely or never see at the larger one two blocks away such as Kohlrabi, okra, chili peppers, papaya, ginger, fresh peanuts, fava beans and several types of yams. They also have fresh made soymilk, tofu and other products plus you can always experiment with some of those commonly used only by Asians. The prices are far less in many cases than the Certified Farmers market down the street. They also open much earlier - even though official hours are 8 to 12, many are already there at 6 and all of them are fully set up by 7 am. However, many of them also close up by 11. The police close off 5th St at 8 am to make it easier for people to cross the street. The atmosphere is also much like being in a foreign country - there are very few Caucasians, you hear many languages spoken and it is so crowded that people are rubbing shoulder to shoulder and you can hear people hagging prices - much like you find in Asia. It's an experience to live if you've never done it before.
