- Cucha1 contributionWe decided to visit Ramona this year, looking for wines. We found this gem with awesome selection. We love reds but ended buying whites as well ... so good !! Thank you for taking care of us. We had a great time.Written September 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mick MalkemusColton, CA1 contributionThe new management fell short on the food quality. I brought two friends to impress them with the fabulous bread with olive oil and balsamic. I was so embarrassed.
The wine and sculpture garden are still stellar. Just don't come hungry and you'll have a superlative experience.
Can't recall when I was there last. Shortly after the owner passed. Wish he was still in charge.Written July 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Vickie STempe, Arizona, United States482 contributionsOur last stop on our self-guided wine tour. The lady at the bar was super nice and helped me find the sweetest wine option. Highly recommend making this a stop. Would go back again.Written April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Russ VSan Diego, CA239 contributionsA very pleasant surprise for this a bit out of the way winery. Just off the 78 and up a dirt road will bring you to the tasting room. Due to COVID, you need to make a reservation. A wide range of wines to try, via testing of 6 1oz for $14 or you can purchase a bottle. You can bring in your own food or order a box lunch a day in advance. Pretty grounds for a short stroll among the vineyard or olive trees.
Worth the trip for a quiet weekend afternoon, the staff is helpful to make selections.Written October 26, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - SoCalQTPie195 contributionsThis winery was an unexpected surprise. Have visited a number of other Ramona wineries, and this place is head and shoulders above all of them. Their wines are better than most Temecula wineries as well. The tasting patio is small and casual, but the hospitality of the owner and the reasonable tasting and bottle prices make this place worth your time.Written October 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- devnprt1Las Vegas, NV476 contributionsFamily owned and worked winery with indoor and relaxing patio areas for wine tasting. Variety of wines and blends to satisfy most palates.Written May 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SageTravelerSan Diego670 contributionsWe had an enjoyable day getaway in San Diego's back country.
Our visit to Principe di Tricase was an enjoyable one, setting the tone for a relaxing day.
Mel (our server) was a knowledgeable, friendly hostess, patiently explaining the 6 wines. (The $15 tasting fee is waived with the purchase of a bottle).
The winery added a 7th glass, a Nebbiolo, as I'd inquired about the grape.
I am not a frequent visitor of wineries, so my knowledge is limited. But I enjoyed the tasting. The lasagna & pesto pizza complemented the wines, as we sat under a canopy of pomegranates, sharing good conversation.Written August 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - BoysieFife, UK22 contributionsOf all the vineyards in this area this is our favourite, we never tire of the views, from the large elevated sitting area, the artwork is unusual but very cleverly presented in the large grounds, a stroll round, glass in hand is an added bonus, and the wine is deliciousWritten February 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David OConnorMenlo Park, CA2,099 contributionsVery comfortable atmosphere inside and out to enjoy a good selection of high quality wines. Friendly staff. Small place but feels like I'm in a neighborhood but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Picnic tables are available so bring a scrumptious meal along. Barrel tasting would be a interesting idea to pursue when offered. Accessible to disabled.Written April 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vickie STempe, Arizona, United States482 contributionsLocals recommended this place so we made a special point to put on our list. The staff was super helpful; left with extra slushy wine and other stuff. Would go back again, especially in the summer.Written April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Estefania Q1 contributionIf you prefer red wines over whites, I highly recommend Hatfield Creek. We have visited most wineries in Ramona and these reds are the best! Good variety of reds, excellent quality, many to choose from. Interesting property with old antique artifacts. Comfortable environment for tasting.Written April 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vickie STempe, Arizona, United States482 contributionsJust love this couple. They are passionate about their wine and it shows. While they didn’t have any sweet wine for me, I was able to drink some of the tasting because their wines are so smooth. And that flat bread pizza! Just the perfect thing. Would definitely go back. I’m rooting for these folks!Written April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Kim C2 contributionsThis was a cute enough place. My adult kids went with me. Great photo ops, hay ride. Was a little disappointed that there was not a corn maze as advertised but overall, it was super fun.Written November 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
