- awhitcoClarion, IA34 contributionsTerrific kayak trip in the bay. Bill took my twin teenagers and I out in tandem kayaks and we saw harbor seals, otters dolphins in the distance and up close (swam right under us - so cool). He was informative about the area and the animals and helped us find sea glass on the beach. Highly reccomend!Written March 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dan P2 contributionsOur 7 year old son went today for his first time and had a blast. Friday mornings are specifically for kids and Rod was great with all the kids that were out there. My son had never surfed before and Rod had him riding waves on his own half way through his first lesson. Highly recommended, look no further and sign up - kids and adults alike!Written July 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- G7198YCdanielsFalls Church, United States5 contributionsFrankly, I was a little apprehensive about having my first California surfing lesson. (I am 72 years old!) But it was lots of fun. Business owner Bill and son-in-law Randy were the instructors, and their cardinal rule was--have fun! And I did! I didn't make it standing up, but I made to a "one-footer," one knee on the board and one foot on the board. Bill and Randy were great, their business is about 30 feet from the beach sand, and waves were small but fun and unthreatening. And a word about those wetsuits--they really work! The water was cold, but I wasn't. I liked it so much, I went back the next day and rented a board and a wetsuit.Written January 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 35745JohnKBakersfield, CA200 contributionsMuch more than a bike rental store. My daughter wanted to surf like she does back home with the wetsuit and board. The first place she found was too restrictive on their hours so my wife stumbled across this one. Half the price of the first one. Laid back attitude - flexible - just get it back before we close. What a breath of fresh air. I recommend this place for renting anything to traverse both land and sea. Parking is a bear but its worth it - same everywhere in Pismo. Surfs up!Written August 10, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
