Calcareous Vineyard
#4 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We rated all of their wines higher than any of the other wineries we visited with our friends and were so pleased that we plan to switch our club from the Twisted Paso club to one of the Calcareous clubs.
We were on a wine tour of 4 vineyards and we loved this one so much we didn’t make the final 2. Patrick our sommelier was amazing would highly recommend a visit

Halter Ranch Vineyard
#5 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
My wife and I invited our oldest son to join us for our annual Paso wine tasting tour and we picked 6 highly rated wineries on this weekend's trip.
The production facilities here are state of the art, and quite different from some of the smaller boutique wineries we visited.

Adelaida Vineyards & Winery
#6 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
After visited all recommended by friend wineries, we found this complimentary Tasting for Two at our AirB&B house and decided to check it out on the last day staying at Paso Robles.
After several hours at the Adelaida Vineyards, we got in our hugs, took some photos to capture our fortuitous meeting, and hit the road to continue our California Road trip.
Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Garden
#8 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Awesome sculptures and great wine in the heart of wine country rated number one region by Wine Enthusiast many other wineries to visit close by.
I enjoy the Westside for it's smaller and more unique wineries.

Tobin James Cellars
#9 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Another great thing is if you turn right onto the small 'frontage road' that gets you into the parking lot, you will pass by amazing countryside and a plethora of small and intimate wineries.
Returning home to Southern California some of the finest wine regions in the world, Next up is to attend all three summer parties at Tobin James Winery just east of Paso Robles, California on Highway 46 to the uni...

Eberle Winery
#10 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We are from Northern California and enjoy many great wineries but we are every happy to have found a new favorite in Paso Robles.
However, what really sets this winery apart from the other Paso Robles wineries is the informative, free of charge cave tour.

Opolo Vineyards
#11 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
They have some great blends that are different than most wineries.
This winery focuses on full-bodied, well-structured red wines, based on Bordeaux or Rhone varietals, although they also grow Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Zinfandel.

Tablas Creek Vineyard
#12 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
This was clearly the highlight of our multi-day visit to the Paso Robles wine area, which is home to many excellent wineries.
Visited 20 wineries.

Niner Wine Estates
#13 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
One of my favorite wineries in Paso, and that is saying a lot!
Then Jonathan gave us a fantastic Winery and Vineyard tour that included riding around the vineyard in a 4 wheeler, thorough tour of their production facility and barrel rooms, barrel and tank tastings, and a clos...

Oso Libre Winery
#14 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We had already been to a couple of wineries and when we went to Oso Libre, the owner Chris talked to us for quite some time and made us feel welcome to the tasting room.
Awesome winery fun relaxed vibe and more importantly great wine.

JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery
#15 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
The location of Justin is a bit farther than most of Paso's wineries, but it is worth the trip.
Wonderful vineyard and after doing my first tour at Justin ( thank you to our tour guide Jeremy for the great explanation) I feel I am Justin "certified" .

DAOU Vineyards
#16 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Daou is a great comparison as to the differences between Napa and Paso wineries -- Paso wineries seem to be located up higher and have stunning views, while Napa is down in the valley floor.
Probably the best in Paso Robles Endless views , endless great wine, fantastic service, everything at his winery is first class Make your reservations before you go to paso, this is a must visit

Castoro Cellars
#18 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
They have a large selection of wines, and the tasting fee of $7 compares VERY favorably to other local wineries who apparently think they're in Napa and now charge $15, $20 and even more!
This is the stereotypical winery you think of when you think of wineries!!!! Italian designed buildings, grapes, grapes, grapes, arbors, calming grounds.

J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines
#20 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Our favorite Cabernet, and one of our favorite wineries!
As a result, the winery makes a variety of wines, including multiple Chardonnays, Viogner, Rieslings, Sauvignon Blanc, Oinot Noir, Cab Sauvignons, Merlots and several red blends.

J Dusi Winery
#21 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We had visited a couple of wineries the day before and the both mentioned they sourced grapes from Duci.
Family owned and operated, J Dusi should be on everyone's Paso Robles "west of the 101" winery tour.
Le Cuvier Winery
#22 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We lived in California from 88 to 1994 and spent time in Santa Barbara and Paso Robles area wineries.
The winery has a full-time chef who creates delicious and creative food to pair with their wines.
Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery
#24 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We found that by visiting central coast wineries during the “winter” we had a non-rushed experience and many wineries went off the tasting list and let us explore what we wanted.
We were looked after by Bob who was the perfect host; very knowledgeable on the winery and wines, very friendly, very passionate about the wines and kept surprising us with different wines to try.

Denner Winery
#26 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Chatted with several other workers there and got excellent advice about other wineries they thought highly of nearby.
High on a hill overlooking the vineyards beyond, we enjoyed sitting out on an outside bench enjoying being served a flight of their latest releases.

Ecluse Wines
#27 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We found that by visiting central coast wineries during the “winter” we had the run of many wineries (avoid Saturdays at the most popular wineries).
Including all of the" big names" There are some other good ones also, but for the price/value this winery is one of the best!
Whalebone Vineyard
#29 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Out of all the wineries we tasted that day we felt that the entire selection poured at Whalebone was excellent and at a good price point.
The family who owns the vineyard are running the show and they are charming, informative and fun.
Still Waters Vineyards
#31 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We thought it was the best we tried out of the 4 wineries we visited in Paso.
There is a small olive grove on the property that overlooks the vineyard and a grassy area with little tables and chairs.
San Antonio Winery

Brecon Estate
#33 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We found this very special winery and vineyard on the second day and it was a game-changer for us.
We were actually referred to Brecon by on of the tasting room staff at Dusi Vineyards on Hwy 46 (west).
Pear Valley Vineyard
#34 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
This is one of the best wineries in the central coast with respect to great wines, low cost and a great wine club program.
We recommend this winery for their beautiful setting, the vineyards, their friendly staff and their very good wines.
Mitchella Vineyard & Winery
#35 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Small and relaxed- friendly and didn’t hesitate to offer suggestions on other wineries to visit in the area.
We had a wonderful wine tasting experience when a friend recommended Mitchella Winery.
Parrish Family Vineyard
#36 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
We have been to many wineries.
We were met with a warm smile and great conversation from our host, Lynlee, whom gave us an amazing history lesson on the Parrish family vineyard.
Jada Vineyard & Winery
#37 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Jada was one of Paso Robles finest wineries we experienced.
This was my first visit to Jada winery, it was amazing, since it was my first visit, I was asked if I wanted to do a cheese and wine pairing, very good decision, as I loved all of their wines and cheeses.
Windward Vineyard
#39 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Justin was very friendly and was very happy to recommend other wineries when we asked him!
While sipping and sampling, you can enhance your experience by the wonderful views across the acres of vineyards and vistas.
Linne Calodo
#40 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
Buy if you are only sampling a limited number of wineries this would be high on your list - but you do need to book in advance.
This winery has great wines but small production and a bit pricier than others around but well worth it.
LXV Wine Tasting Room
#41 of 180 Food & Drink in Paso Robles
This is a must on you list of wineries/tasting rooms to visit.
What a wonderful and fun time we had at LXV winery.
