- TyrrellsadventureGlendale, AZ95 contributionsThere was a very nice guy who greeted us as we walked in and asked if we wanted a sample. Of course! Their toffee is the best! It’s not too hard and almost melts in your mouth. I bought a box for my co-workers and I know they will love it as well.Written September 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew MSan Carlos, CA262 contributionsWe have visited the Palm Springs area before and remember the famed date shakes from Hadley Fruit Orchards, so when we visited the area most recently during a day in Palm Springs, we made sure to stop for a milkshake. The store is located right next to the Cabazon Premium Outlets, which makes it easy if you’re coming from the freeway, and includes both a relatively-large grocery and supply store and the “restaurant” area.
The restaurant sells a variety of date-related products, the most famous of which is the date shake, which we’d definitely recommend trying! It comes in three sizes and the prices were reasonable. A friend who’d never had it before remarked that it was pretty similar to a vanilla milkshake — and that’s true: it’s not that unusual of a taste, less noticeable than chocolate or a flavor like that. However, if you’re stopping by the area and want to be able to say that you’ve had a date milkshake, it’s an easy stop from the freeway.Written August 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of unique, quirky and fun art, plates, glassware and christmas ornaments ALL with a wicked sense of humor. Michael is the best part of the whole experience. Ask him the story about the hidden gay porn collection that now adorns prints and plates in the "secret" back room. Come for the HORRIBLE coasters! Stay for the champagne that is inevitably being poured. If a gallery full of contemporary art that will have people blushing, squirming and saying WTF is what you are looking for. Go NOW. There's no place like it anywhere.Written July 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- travelgirl1055Santa Ana, CA50 contributionsBut first the store- complete with stones and amulets, card decks of all kinds, candles and much more. The ultimate treasure of the place is Patrick Harrington who does readings. If you have questions in your life and feel that a psychic could help you, by all means see this kind but honest gentleman. I hate to use a cliche, but I am going to- Patrick is the real deal!Written February 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The owners remind us to make an offer on anything that interests us (as prices are negotiable). The stores (there are several in the complex) are packed to the rafters and it takes awhile to poke around and find the treasures.
Further down the road, Celebrity Consignment Store has (in our opinion) consistently better quality furniture and better prices on those pieces. For art work, Estate Sale Company shops are still the best, but that will vary depending on what they have for sale.
And Revivals (also a little further up the road) has really nice furniture, mostly new, for super prices. All these choices make Palm Springs the consignment heaven it is.Written May 3, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So different from the more tourist oriented shops in the area. Well worth a visit. Open weekends only.Written January 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sjsknsCalifornia99 contributionsDestination PSP has many items made in America, where better to understand mid- of century modern? Portions of water bottle sales went to local charities. And the postcards, although more expensive than you would find at a souvenir shop, were beautiful, great quality and reflected the Palm Springs vibe perfectly, bringing smiles to my friends who received them,.Written November 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denise TYorktown, VA203 contributionsOne of the few stores I went in as much seemed to be closed on Mondays. Some cute t-shirts at good prices. - David B13 contributionsThe entire Palm Springs, Palm Desert, et al is a work of art both by the hand of God and by the many hands of the local creative people. The Desert Art Center, I would say, is one of the best examples of this remarkable symbiosis.Written September 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rita S5 contributionsWe went to Hats Unlimited after we saw it on TripAdvisor. So much fun! It is amazing how many hats they have. Hats for kids, winter hats, summer hats, cowboy hats, top hats..... I could go on and on. We spent about an hour or so shopping. Christina was so helpful! Helping find different hat sizes and types, checking stock in the back... There are no sports themed hats here. They do have baseball hats, which have logos or funny sayings on them. Our main interest were the novelty hats. Great selection! We each bought three hats. Money well spent!Written January 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- bob bPhiladelphia, PA17 contributionsI've always admired the metal sculptures here. We needed a gift for friends and we found just what we needed, tea towels and cocktail napkins. The owner was pleasant and wrapped the items with tissue and ribbon to make a good looking presentation. And it was gratis!Written February 18, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
