We spent a weekend away from home and strolled the
Downtown Palm Springs beat. When I was stopped and asked if I wanted to try some homemade toffee, I never thought I would have engaged in an experience of splendor. The 2 store clerks were so amazing and gave me the whole story of how the store was founded. Such an incredible story and incredible sweets. A must stop in my book!

No junk. Very classy items. I went in to all the stores down this street and this one was one of the few memorable. Great gift ideas to. Unique.

Destination PSP has many items made in America, where better to understand mid- of century modern? Portions of water bottle sales went to local charities. And the postcards, although more expensive than you would find at a souvenir shop, were beautiful, great quality and reflected the Palm Springs vibe perfectly, bringing smiles to my friends who received them,.

We have visited the Palm Springs area before and remember the famed date shakes from Hadley Fruit Orchards, so when we visited the area most recently during a day in Palm Springs, we made sure to stop for a milkshake. The store is located right next to the Cabazon Premium Outlets, which makes it easy if you’re coming from the freeway, and includes both a relatively-large grocery and supply store and the “restaurant” area.

The restaurant sells a variety of date-related products, the most famous of which is the date shake, which we’d definitely recommend trying! It comes in three sizes and the prices were reasonable. A friend who’d never had it before remarked that it was pretty similar to a vanilla milkshake — and that’s true: it’s not that unusual of a taste, less noticeable than chocolate or a flavor like that. However, if you’re stopping by the area and want to be able to say that you’ve had a date milkshake, it’s an easy stop from the freeway.

I was so happy to find this shop in the center of town, after having lunch at Billy Reed's. I found a red jasper and a carnelian polished nugget for my friend who is crazy about semi-precious stones. The prices here were good, and I enjoyed my visit. I'm so glad to find somewhere new to shop when visiting PS. You can find a good variety of Chakra stones, etc., if that is what you are looking for.

We stopped into this boutique while strolling and window shopping after dinner. This shop is a big hit with the ladies. Thankfully it was also close to our hotel. Friendly staff.

I've always admired the metal sculptures here. We needed a gift for friends and we found just what we needed, tea towels and cocktail napkins. The owner was pleasant and wrapped the items with tissue and ribbon to make a good looking presentation. And it was gratis!

We stopped in here to browse after dinner across the street and in hopes of finding bottled water. They didn't have chilled bottled water but there are some unique t-shirt finds and souvenirs here.

We stopped by here while stemming through downtown Palm Springs and window shopping. They really do have a lot of hats to choose from in a wide variety of fun styles. From casual to dressy, you'll find a hat here.

We like stopping here at stores I, II, III and always do (shop here), every trip we make to the desert. The owners remind us to make an offer on anything that interests us (as prices are negotiable). The stores (there are several in the complex) are packed to the rafters and it takes awhile to poke around and find the treasures.

Further down the road, Celebrity Consignment Store has (in our opinion) consistently better quality furniture and better prices on those pieces. For art work, Estate Sale Company shops are still the best, but that will vary depending on what they have for sale.

And Revivals (also a little further up the road) has really nice furniture, mostly new, for super prices. All these choices make Palm Springs the consignment heaven it is.

We love this gallery and stop in on every visit. It's huge and the variety of mediums and styles is fantastic, including the reasonable prices. It's in an historic school building, with lots of beautiful light, and the artist hosts are always informative.
On our last trip, I was able to drop in on a weekly painting class, which made the trip more special.

Was at the grand opening and then again for the modernism week shows. So much talent packed in to a beautiful space! Pieces displayed very nicely. Nathan is very friendly and professional. The artists featured brought amazing pieces! Isreal Hoyer, Jesse Fortune and others really create beautiful art! Will definitely recommend to everyone!

OMG! What a find. Small shop but they have plenty of awesome clothes and accessories. The owner is the sweetest lady ever and so helpful. She has a gift for picking out what would really look great on a person. Can hardly wait to go back.

Greeted by a beautiful smile and easy laugh, our visit to the Tinder Box was one of our highlights of Palm Springs. There is a nice, large humidor with great variety. We were given great dining advice and she was truly a service oriented person! We will return on every visit!
