- Terry BToronto, Canada58 contributionsAn astonishingly vast collection of antiquities displayed in the perfect environs. As a classics nerd, it was like I'd died and gone to heaven!Written February 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dongruikeAshburn, VA10 contributionsEarlier this year, I traveled along the Great Ocean Road from outside of Melbourne to The Twelve Apostles in Victoria. While that place is unique and amazing, it reminded me a lot of the Pacific Coast Highway in California and the beautiful beaches there like Leo Carrillo and El Matador State Parks. Getting to El Matador Beach requires a descent down two long sets of stairs but it’s worth the trip. Once down there, you will see beautiful rock formations and scenery. The place is simply breathtaking and is my favorite picturesque beach in the Los Angeles area.Written October 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - quasikatLos Angeles, CA6 contributionsThis, is an amazing place. Allow about two hours to fully appreciate it. You park at the bottom take a short gradual hike up the side of a cliff. Once on too, there's an array of meadows and coastline views. Follow all the paths up and down and around. No bad time to go but in the spring, you've got a narrow window of migrating gray whales and blossoming flowers.Written February 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chocolatekimmyAndover, UK179 contributionsGreat to visit such a famous location, just a short distance from LA.
Its a pier so as much as it was nice, it wasn't particularly special or different to most other piers. There are a few places to eat and a shop. The views are nice.Written April 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
