- Michael K4 contributionsI got the flyaway (LAX to Union Station) from Terminal 1. It stops at each terminal, sometimes multiple stops per terminal and for me this took 30 mins from getting on at T1 to actually leaving LAX. Once we left LAX we had a great run into Union Station. For context, this was Saturday 940am leaving T1 and arrived at Union station about 1040
I asked my hotel shuttle to drop me at the flyaway stop and they just dropped me at T1. Next time I would consider asking to be dropped at the T7 flyaway stop to avoid the 30 mins of stop start, but other reviewers here have said that the bus fills up at the earlier terminals and sometimes misses the later ones. So please probably arguments either way!Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tickets can be purchased from most LA Airport area hotels. The ride, traffic depending, is about 40 minutes and the busses run every hour.
As you travel along the most inaccurately named road in LA, Imperial Highway, you will enjoy a great bumpy and jostling ride. It goes all the way to Dockweiler Beach where you follow the coastline to Manhattan Beach. Manhattan beach promotes itself as the home of beach volleyball in America, and indeed the beachfront is testimony to that. A swathe of courts, three wide stretches for many hundreds of yards along the wide sandy beaches. Actually the day we were there a USVBA tournament was taking place. Also you will find adjacent to the courts a lovely pier that stretches a couple of hundred yards into the ocean. It makes for great viewing of passing tankers and locals surfing next to the pier pylons. here is a dedicated cycling/rollerblading track and also a walking track called the Strand.
Shopping is only a block away from the beach and there s a great ice cream parlour nearby. Further afield is a large shopping mall - but let's face it, you want to see the beach and environs and not shop -right? The return journey takes a different less bumpy ride back.
All in all the service was quick and efficient and well worth the small amount charged.
Highly recommended.Written May 16, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a very complicated event that needed to move 700 people between two hotels and a club in West Hollywood. All the buses showed up on time and the drivers were very kind and accommodating to our needs. Will definitely book our bus shuttles with them again next year. Thank you!!Written July 25, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- marthasorOld Greenwich, CT240 contributionsFantastic car service! Nick and Davon were our drivers for airport transfers and for some point-to-point bookings. Both were incredibly friendly and so helpful. If you need a car service in the LA area, we highly recommend Stay Classy!Written August 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
