A great landmark unfortunately the place was closed for filming so it was not in use but maybe without anyone you enjoy more the architecture and the stone/cement/material of the construction: shining grey lunar landscape.
    Very worth the walk

I don't even remember the last time I went on this Studio Tour but we definitely did not need 3D glasses then. Some of the behind the scenes were the same (SPOILER ALERT!!! Jaws, the earthquake in the subway station, and the flood in the Western town), but the Jurassic scene, and Fast and Furious were new to me.

The whole tour did take about an hr and due to the Halloween event, some of the sets had zombies and other Halloween decorations. This is a ride you should take if you are visiting Universal Studios, even if it is just to see the house in Psycho.

My son loved this ride. We had the unlimited express pass so we rode this over and over again. Tip - the middle seats don't get very wet. Water ride with a fun drop at the end.

My favorite ride at Universal Hollywood. Seriously, it was so fun. My 8 year old son didn't love it and he loves rollercoasters.

Although the queue was tremendously long and we had to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes, the experience was amazing. Everyone should make a try to come to this ride!

This ride is a highlight of the park. It’s a longer ride with lots of details. The line to wait to board the ride is a walk through Hogwarts with some things to look at and keep you entertained while waiting. There are free lockers to stow your belongings before getting into the queue. I suggest going there early as soon as the park opens to avoid the inevitable super long wait times for it in the afternoon.

The Walking Dead” in universal City Plaza, a year-round attraction. Prepare to fight for survival as you navigate through a hungry walkers. Follow in the footsteps of the human survivors as you battle your way through nightmarish landscapes.

Great for younger kids - similar to the "Dumbo" ride, kids can make themselves go up and down. Younger kids can ride by themselves once they are a certain height.

We loved this ride. Massive Simpsons fans and it’s a great simulator ride. You can take all your bags with you because you just leave it to the side the and the cart goes up and then comes back down. I love the area where you pine up for the ride too.

This is a much better executed addition to the tram tour than some other parts. You get a good shot of adrenaline without it being too cheesy. The 3D glasses help finish the illusion. Kids seemed to get into it just as much as everyone else.

It’s a cute little coaster. Good for younger kids. There’s nothing extreme about it and not much to look at. Worth it if the line is not too long, but I’d be disappointed if I had to wait for more than 30 minutes to ride it.

This is not a separate ride, but is part of the Universal back lot tour where you take the large tram to go see movie sets and offices on the back lots of Universal that are actually in production of movies and shows. The tram tour also includes the trip to Skull Island with King Kong in 3D, the Jaws encounter, the subway in earthquake/flood, etc. So if you look at it like this is supposed to be a fancy new ride i a tram, you are looking at it backwards. This is a new add on to what started Universal Studios - the tour. That being said, the F&F part of the ride was loud, full of explosions and things flying at you (digitally), and had its moments of looking a bit stilted. Still, it was a good overall add on to the tram tour.

A well managed and maintained open space in Los Angeles. Facilities include: An Auditorium, barbecue pits, baseball diamond (lighted), basketball courts (lighted/indoor/outdoor), a kids play area, indoor gym (without weights), picnic tables, car parking and restrooms. Also close-by, which is well worth a visit, is the LA Museum of the Holocaust.

For years, this park was ignored and pretty much a mess. Following a lengthy cleanup of the lake and installation of new park facilities, it's now a beauty! There are lots of paths for a stroll. Note that no path goes all the way around the lake. It's a great place to see a variety of birds. The wetland areas are a magnet for them.

Although I have been to Los Angeles many times this was the first time I attended a sports event at Pauley Pavillion. I am writing about the excellent parking! We were there for the National Champion Ship Tournament in Men's Volleyball and wondered whether to Uber/ Lyft from our hotel or use our rented car. We scouted out the parking lot earlier in the day and decided we would chance driving and parking. Although parking structure 8 is closest to the Pavilion we were lucky to find a spot close to a walking exit each time. The parking app made it easy to pay and there is no danger of underpaying because the app warns you when the time you have paid for is close to expiration so you can pay more without having to leave the event.
We also found the ushers at the event were very courteous.
