This is not a separate ride, but is part of the Universal back lot tour where you take the large tram to go see movie sets and offices on the back lots of Universal that are actually in production of movies and shows. The tram tour also includes the trip to Skull Island with King Kong in 3D, the Jaws encounter, the subway in earthquake/flood, etc. So if you look at it like this is supposed to be a fancy new ride i a tram, you are looking at it backwards. This is a new add on to what started Universal Studios - the tour. That being said, the F&F part of the ride was loud, full of explosions and things flying at you (digitally), and had its moments of looking a bit stilted. Still, it was a good overall add on to the tram tour.
