Although i grew up in Niguel Shores (above Dana Strands beach), 9th and 10th street beaches in South Laguna were always my favorites.
We visited and hiked most of the beaches from Santa Monica to Oceanside and this one along with Sunset Cliffs(Dan Diego) were my favorites.

The beach is much less crowded than many other beaches in the area and the water is calm and beautiful.
Most of the beaches we've been at in Southern Cal require some walking to get to.

Although most of the beaches in Orange County are the typical sandy sort, Victoria Beach is different.

It is away from the center of town and located in North Laguna, right before you drive 4 miles north to Newport Beach..... Above this beach is Crescent Bay Point Park and the scenery from this angle is beautiful.....
