This has to be the most beautiful and largest outdoor mall in Southern California. Just walking around and seeing all the shops and restaurants makes you feel as if you are in a different country. We love coming here to either sightsee or for shopping and lunch.

We eat at either the fun shake shack or Javier's.

Parking is easy and they have a really cool Ferris wheel.

If you’re in Orange County, Tanaka Farms is one of those places to check out. Their market stand is always available to purchase goods throughout the year. If you’re looking for ways to enjoy the seasons, their festivals are always fun and a pleasant experience form the staff. One of the best places to visit in Irvine, CA.

My toddler LOVED this place, went nuts! He's super into pretend play and Pretend City indeed gives many opportunities for it. It's almost funny how this entire museum is sponsored by different entities, and it's like a giant advertisement in some ways. There's a Trader Joe's, a UPS Store, a house sponsored by a family, a Marugame Udon, fire station, car fix up place, a sand pit, a water play area, a library, art station, and more. We spent almost 4 hours here and can't wait to come back! Thought tickets were pretty pricey at $20 per person over 1 years old, and parking is kind of annoying because while it's plentiful it's pretty far.

The museum is on the ground floor of an office building in Irvine, but don't let that deter you, the exhibit was very nice and parking is validated. It is one of the few 'cultural' opportunities in this area and we enjoyed visiting.

We were in Irvine and we came across this cute sanctuary right near the UC Irvine. As we reached the place, it turned to be a great oasis. The sanctuary covers a large lake for all kinds of natural habitat. Saw some nice water birds, butterflies, a rabbit, some geese and so on. There were some old preserved structures on the premises including the caretakers residence. There was a hall also which was available for citizens to reserve and have events. Overall a good place for nature lovers to pass a couple of hours and walk around. Also there is no entry fee.

Thank goodness for Deja. Here's why: We wanted to enjoy a game of miniature golf, and we heard that Boomers was the place to go. After we paid, we found that our mini-golf game gave us two choices: to follow 8 golfers on the green course or to follow 12 golfers on the blue course. The Boomers posted number was 4-6 golfers per hole. We were upset waiting in the heat to play, and no one from Boomers responded to our dilemma either while we were golfing or when we finished ... except for Deja. She understood our upset, apologized for our experience, refunded our money, and gave us credit for games in the future. We were overwhelmed by her caring and generous response . So much so that we stayed at the Arcade and spent way more than we would have as a result. We enjoyed ourselves that day, and that was the purpose of our vacationing from North Carolina to California. Thank you Deja.

This is a very good playground for kids. They especially liked playing with the giant Lego blocks, play structures, slides, climbing obstacles, sand pit, mud section, jungle gym, and other things. I don’t know if the large chess set belongs here. I don’t see it fitting in with the other kid's activities. Bring extra set clothes for your kids. They are likely to get dirty.

Took the family out for an evening with DMB. Free general parking and arrived by 6.15p and short walk to entrance. Portable bathrooms in venue with separate men/women section with actual sinks & soap for proper washings. Typical food trucks and adult beverages for concert pricing but can tailgate in parking lot if desired. Bring blanket to picnic on grass and bottled water.
Overall, we had a great time and felt safe @the 5points. We left before encore started and listened in parking lot to avoid traffic. You can actually drive into the free general parking and listen to the concert or walk up to the fence and get a view of the big screen.

We attended the Ray Charles tribute. Even though we've been residents of Orange County for decades we've never been to an event at this theater. It was a wonderful experience. Great acoustics for music, an intimate setting and easy access.
