- Rebecca ZMukwonago, WI139 contributionsHad a wonderful morning at this small aquarium. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate the fact that many of the animals here were rescues.Written June 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BackroadsExpSan Diego, CA104 contributionsOur recent “Gold” tour of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site / Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center was instructive, enlightening, and inspirational -- highly recommended for all ages! Our guide, Stephanie, was perfect: warm, personable, and informative. Stephanie (a former ice skater) smoothly guided us across a broad swath of the 155-acre campus supporting track and field, BMX supercross, field hockey, soccer, rugby, volleyball, tennis, archery and more. Availability of a golf cart was especially useful to one of our group recovering from a recent knee replacement. Throughout the day we observed many athletes at practice (Stephanie frequently noted Olympians by name, many having recently competed and won in the Tokyo games). Some athletes had just returned from the Para Athletics World Championships in Paris while others were preparing for future competitive events. We marveled over their dedication and skill. We admired the large strength training facility and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in the dining hall. We even appreciated the presence of an osprey, likely making its home at the nearby lake, also part of the training facility. We encourage all to visit the Center, as it will certainly provide important insight and appreciation for Olympians preparing for Paris 2024!Written July 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Judith KMission Viejo, CA50 contributionsOnly 40 minutes south of the San Ysidro/San Diego border, this lovely small town has it all! A variety of places to stay, with the historic Rosarito Beach Hotel standing out, you can eat fancy or cheap and all of it good and fairly priced! Want California Fusion Cuisine? Try Susanna's! Fabulous tacos...most anywhere "on the street." Sensational Mole? We love Cazuela de Mole. You can't stay long enough to eat all the good food! Great wide sand beach, fun drinking spots! What else could you ask for? GO!Written April 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Rich807Las Vegas, NV662 contributionsExtremely welcoming (owner, staff & regulars). Their Michelada is awesome… the mix used is homemade. Beers are quite drinkable with the lager being perhaps the most drinkable one we’ve ever had.Written November 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - StevenTassDesert Hot Springs, CA3 contributionsThis is the perfect place to walk around and be tranquil or for a nice picnic with yourself or others. I often like going to this place by myself and with friends. The surroundings are quiet, there is vegetation and running water coming down from the mountains. The scenery is not what you would expect, and you will be surprised and happy you drove out to visit.Written October 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BearTravels33Phoenix, AZ319 contributions3rd Avenue has been revitalized and has some great dinning options. It is also a very nice stroll. Parking is a little hard to find because restaurants are using what was parking as outdoor dining. There are side streets so you might just have a small walk.Written April 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
