She is the literal queen of tourism in Myanmar, pouring her heart into showcasing the beauty, history, and culture of her country. Her passion and love for Myanmar are infectious, and she provides an experience that goes beyond just sightseeing.
Over our two-day trip, she taught us so much about not only Myanmar’s rich past but also the struggles of its people today. One of the most meaningful parts of our tour was visiting a local family in their village, where we had a heart-to-heart conversation about their lives. Experiences like this are invaluable to us, and Nway Nway made it possible.
She’s also incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always making sure we were doing okay throughout the tour. If you want to get off the beaten path, Nway Nway is the guide for you.
While we toured with Nway Nway in Bagan, her team, including Koh Sai in Yangon, NuNu in Inle, and Min Min who guided us from Inle to Bagan, were just as amazing. The drivers were also incredibly kind.
Nway Nway is quick to respond and always available to help. The entire team is top-notch, and I couldn’t recommend anyone else to show you the beauty of Myanmar. It has a covered stairway, I believe 777 stairs, barefoot with lots of monkeys around you all the way. It’s a troubling time to be in Myanmar and hear the stories first hand, but it impacts the trip that much more. Yangon: Our journey began in Yangon, where our guide’s deep knowledge of local history brought the city to life. The majestic Shwedagon Pagoda was a highlight, its golden spires glowing under the sun, and the guide’s insights into its spiritual significance made the visit even more meaningful. The bustling Bogyoke Aung San Market was a delightful introduction to Myanmar’s vibrant culture and craftsmanship.
Mandalay: In Mandalay, the agency crafted an itinerary that perfectly balanced cultural immersion and relaxation. From the serene U Bein Bridge at sunset to the grandeur of Mandalay Palace and the intricate carvings at Shwenandaw Monastery, every site was a masterpiece. Our guide’s passion for the region was contagious, making us feel deeply connected to the city’s heritage.
Bagan: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly Bagan. The sweeping views of the ancient temple plain during sunrise and sunset were magical. Our guide ensured we explored both iconic sites like Ananda Temple and hidden gems, providing fascinating stories behind each structure. Riding a hot air balloon over Bagan was the cherry on top – a breathtaking way to appreciate the grandeur of this historic landscape.

A wonderful guide, and charming company, this is the most professional operation we have experienced. His fluent English, and amazing knowledge covered not only Bagan, but a great insight into Myanmar and its history. We had great conversations.
